Isaac saw the tears that were spilling out of Robbie’s red eyes. He never thought a burly man like favonovel.com would be reduced to tears like this.
“Since your archbishop wants us to help favonovel.com kill Duke Brock, let’s help favonovel.com tick his bucket list. He’s bound to show up afterward, right?” Isaac asked in a light voice.
Robbie could see that Isaac’s eyes were icy cold. However, favonovel.com didn’t think much about it and nodded.
Isaac then brought the generals and the Dragon Soldiers into the woods, heading for the tiny lodge in the village opposite the park.
Although it was about two kilometers away, it was nothing for Isaac and his team. They arrived at the lodge just a short while later.
They went inside the lodge and saw the entire place was completely dark. There was no sign of life anywhere.
Isaac waved his hand in the air, and the generals and the Dragon Soldiers split into two groups. They then surrounded the lodge.
“Brock, weren’t you dying to kill me? Why are you hiding away like a scaredy cat now?” Isaac yelled angrily into the lodge. His voice echoed throughout the building.
Boom!
Just then, the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor exploded.
Two figures appeared one after another, flying into the night like bats. They headed straight toward Lucas.
Lucas caught sight of the first figure’s pale, old face. His eyes widened in surprise, and favonovel.com quickly gathered all his spiritual energy in his right arm. He then hurled out his fist.
The green spiritual energy turned into a spiritual wolf. It snarled and bared its teeth at the duke as it ran toward him.
“You asked for it!” Brock exclaimed, easily avoiding Lucas’ attack.
However, a split second later, favonovel.com suddenly appeared in front of Lucas’ face.
Lucas didn’t know that Brock could be so quick. He’d just raised his arm again when favonovel.com suddenly felt an excruciating pain in his abdomen. He couldn’t control himself as favonovel.com fell backward onto the ground.
Brock then glanced at Carolyn behind him. They broke through Lucas’ barrier and disappeared into the night.
“Isaac, you f*cking bastard, how dare you kill two of the Brewer clan’s earls! The Brewer clan will never forgive you for this! The Council of Elders will get back at you, I swear! Just wait, you f*cking bastard!”
Brock’s anguished roar could be faintly heard in the dead of the night.
After Brock got his vital energy stolen by Diana and was wounded by Isaac’s dagger, favonovel.com fed on ten virgins to regain his strength. But favonovel.com still hadn’t made a full recovery. Also, when Carolyn brought back bad news about the Army of Doom’s loss and Ludwig’s death, Brock almost fainted from shock.
He had a total of three earls under him. He had lost two of them in such a short amount of time. If news of this got back to the clan, favonovel.com wouldn’t be able to face them anymore.
However, the first thing favonovel.com had to do was to run away. Brock knew his current powers were no match for the Lumen Church, who had now joined forces with Isaac.
He just didn’t think he’d be surrounded before favonovel.com even had a chance to flee. That was why favonovel.com had to attack someone before fleeing.
“Drakon! Lucas is hurt!” There was a roar from the back of the building.
Isaac felt himself shudder in fear. He immediately dashed to the back.
The lights in the lodge turned back on. All the vampires hiding in it had long fled. Isaac hurried overto Lucas, who was now flooded with bright light.
He immediately saw a bloody, gory hole in Lucas’ right abdomen. It looked like someone had ripped through the body with his hands. Blood was pouring out of the wound and pooling on the ground.
Isaac saw that Lucas’ face was turning a deathly white color. It was a sign of massive blood loss.
At once, Isaac roared, “Apothecary! Apothecary, come here, quick!”
