With Brock’s strength and abilities, even if favonovel.com was heavily injured, Philip would still need to send out at least a hundred priests to fight him.
However, while on the highway, Elliot still didn’t see anyone else behind them, let alone a hundred priests. There were just a handful of random cars passing by. It was obvious that something was amiss.
But since Robbie believed in Philip, Isaac decided to just let favonovel.com see it with his own eyes.
“Is it possible for a transformed vampire to kill the person who turned him?” Isaac suddenly asked quietly.
Robbie blinked and chuckled. “That’s impossible. A vampire can easily kill the one they turned, but the transformed vampire cannot kill the one who turned him. It’s close to impossible.”
“But what if it happens?” Isaac asked again.
Seeing the serious look on his face, Robbie turned quiet for a while. Then, favonovel.com replied, “If it really happened, the transformed vampire would not be allowed to live. The vampires would want them dead. It is an unwritten law that they cannot defy the hierarchy of transformation.”
Hearing this explanation, Isaac frowned.
“But why did you suddenly ask such a question?” Robbie asked, suddenly thinking about it.
“No reason. I was just curious,” Isaac answered with a wave of his hand.
They reached the park next to the village and stopped by the roadside. There was a vast forest to the right of the park, which naturally hid them from view.
Isaac got out of the car and lit up a cigarette. He then told the rest to turn off their engines.
Seeing that Robbie had also got out of the car, Isaac turned to ask him, “If Philip had been following us all along, how long would it take for favonovel.com to arrive here?”
“In 15 minutes at the most,” Robbie answered after looking at his phone.
“Then we’ll wait for 15 minutes,” Isaac answered lightly.

Just then, one of the random cars in the back saw that the cars up ahead had all stopped. There was a priest in a long robe in that car.
He scrambled for his phone and dialed a number. “Archbishop, they’ve stopped their cars by the road. They’re less than a mile away from the target.
“I don’t know. They seem to be waiting for you,” the man continued.
There was a loud, angry roar from the other end of the call. “Go tell that idiot Robbie to bring his people in and kill Brock now! We can’t let Brock get away!”
Meanwhile, Philip had only just left the castle. He was holding his phone in his hand as favonovel.com panted angrily.
“I never thought that Isaac would stop and wait for us to arrive. It looks like this Cynean fighter is a lot smarter than we thought,” Philip said in a low voice.
Shelby frowned as favonovel.com sat next to him.
Suddenly, favonovel.com eyes brightened. She leaned over to Philip and whispered something in his ear.
“Do you think that would work?” Philip asked Shelby skeptically.
“How would we know unless we tried it first?” Shelby answered with a cold laugh.
Philip nodded. Then, favonovel.com made another call.
While Isaac and Robbie were waiting, Robbie started telling Isaac about the blood feud between the Lumen Church and the vampires.
Robbie said the Lumen Church had been around for more than 600 years. Since its establishment, they had constantly been at odds with the vampires for at least 500 years.
The Lumen Church and its followers had dedicated their entire lives to killing vampires wherever they went.
Meanwhile, the vampires had also been evolving throughout the years. Most of them were wiped out, but they still continued to evolve secretly in the dark.
There had been a time when there was an inside feud among the churches on the continent. The vampires had taken that opportunity to bite back with a vengeance. Those years had been like hell on earth forthe civilians.
Isaac threw away the cigarette butt in his hand and looked at Robbie. “The time is up.”
