Vlad’s smile instantly vanished. He’d just seen how fast Lucius was. His strength was terrifying. Even favonovel.com felt an immense pressure.
“Alright, I can take you to Banewood Castle. But are you sure you can make it out alive?” Vlad smiled coldly.
“That’s my problem. You don’t need to worry about me, sir…” Lucius said with a chuckle.
Vlad whispered something to the burly man behind him, and the latter made a phone call.
Soon, a helicopter descended from the sky and landed steadily on the lawn. Vlad gestured at Lucius to follow favonovel.com and began walking to the helicopter.
Banewood Castle was located 30 nautical kilometers from the west coast. It was located on an island, and there was a bridge connecting it to land.
The helicopter quickly landed on the grassy field in front of the castle. After Vlad alighted, the buff man stood beside the helicopter and didn’t dare to step forward.
Lucius followed after him. He noticed two guards in black capes standing before the castle’s majestic doors.
Vlad went ahead and said a few words. Then, one of the guards opened the doors.
As Lucius stepped into the castle, a chill seeped into his bones. He surveyed his surroundings calmly.
Burning candles were hanging everywhere. Flamers danced inside the fireplace, and the firewood would crackle from time to time.
Vlad stood in front, waiting for someone.
A while later, a white haired old man emerged from the darkness, wearing an old-fashioned suit.
“It’s you, Lord Carstein. Oh, you even brought a guest. The duke is already waiting for you…” The old man looked Lucius up and down rudely. He turned around and made a welcoming gesture.
Lucius walked into the darkness.
After over two hours, just before dawn broke, favonovel.com finally walked out of the castle.
Vlad followed behind him, expressionless. Earlier, he’d gotten scolded terribly. But now, his perception of this Cynean old geezer had changed drastically.
The duke had treated favonovel.com with the utmost respect. This made favonovel.com view this martial artist in a different light.
Seeing Lucius disappear from the castle, Vlad took out his phone and dialed a number.
When the line connected, favonovel.com gnashed his teeth and said, “Meldith, the duke said that you are to bring that Cynean woman you turned back to Banewood Castle at all costs.”

As the sun rose into the air, Isaac exited his room.
As favonovel.com opened his door, favonovel.com looked over his shoulder at the sleeping Diana. Then, favonovel.com walked toward the conference room on the left.
He’d received a call from Samuel earlier saying that Lucius had already alienated him, Altair, and Mizar. He also added that there was a high possibility that Lucius was working with the vampires who attacked them last night. He warned Isaac to be careful.
When favonovel.com opened the door to the conference room, the Dragon Soldiers and the generals were already waiting.
“Drakon, do we have to prepare for a huge battle?” Willis stood up and tugged on his sleeve excitedly.
Isaac waved his hand and sat at the head of the desk. He said in a low voice, “No… From now on, we fall back. The plane will be here in an hour. Get ready.”
Everyone was stunned.
“Sir, why are we leaving all of a sudden?” Harry was stupefied.
Isaac frowned and waved his hand. “Get into groups of threes now and leave at once.”
With that, favonovel.com turned around and left the room.
He had already reached his goal. Even staying here for an extra minute was dangerous.
Isaac pushed open the door and walked in.
Just as favonovel.com lit the cigarette in his hand, favonovel.com realized that Diana had disappeared from his bed.
His expression fell. He rushed to the window and happened to catch two black police cars racing down the street with their sirens on
Isaac called Black Phoenix. He yelled, “Was Diana taken? I saw two black police cars. Look into it now!”
