The mocking voice echoed throughout the manor. Also, it sounded very familiar.
Whoosh!
A dark shadow suddenly pounced at Isaac from the front. The pale white face and ivory fangs that appeared revealed to Isaac that it was Meldith all along.
Isaac ducked. He managed to avoid Meldith’s deadly pounce. He then hurriedly turned on the light in his hands.
Click!
The laser light was turned up to the maximum power. A bright beam of light shone onto the back.
After Meldith failed to jump Isaac, favonovel.com leaped onto the huge wooden beams above to regain his balance.
As the strong ray of light, mixed with UV rays from the sun, shone up at the ceiling, Meldith felt the back of his body starting to burn.
He let out a cry of pain and dashed off, quickly disappearing into the darkness. The rest of the manor was pitch-black.
“Apothecary, break the walls and let the sun in!”
Something seemed to have gone off in Isaac’s head as favonovel.com suddenly yelled at Harry and Denvor. Then, favonovel.com raised his right hand, curled it into a fist, and shot out multiple shadow fists ahead of him.
The shadow fists rushed forward in a few directions, heading straight for the walls.
Bang! Crash!
A few loud crashes later, two large holes appeared on both sides of the manor. The bright afternoon sun immediately shone into the house, casting light upon everything inside.
Meldith was just nearby when favonovel.com got scalded by the sudden rays of sun shining through. He let out a distressed cry and ran upstairs immediately.
There were a few loud crashes upstairs.
A while later, more holes appeared in the walls. The crashes were immediately followed by more cries and screams of pain.
Isaac looked like he’d gone completely mad. He had clenched his fists and was throwing spiritual punches at the walls around him.
Soon, the entire manor was flooded with sunlight. There was no place for the vampires to hide anymore. The entire manor turned completely silent.
Harry and Denvor rushed down the stairs. They stood in the sunlight and panted.
Denvor wiped off the sweat on his forehead and said, “They had a secret passageway somewhere. They must have gone underground. Also, we saw no signs of Diana on the upper floors.”
Isaac nodded and hurried into the few rooms ahead.
There were a total of eight rooms on the first floor. Each room was fiercely kicked open by Isaac.
When favonovel.com finally reached the last door, favonovel.com was surprised to see a figure hurriedly scurrying under the bed. Next to the bed was a young man, all shackled up. He was staring at Isaac in fear.
Isaac turned his attention back to the two hands on the floor. He frowned and called out, “Diana?”
He slowly came closer to the bed.
“No, don’t come any closer!” Diana’s shaky, terrified voice came from under the bed.
Isaac felt like a huge load had been taken off his shoulders when favonovel.com heard favonovel.com voice. He turned and reached out toward Denvor, who gave favonovel.com a black thermal insulation blanket.
“Diana, come home with me. You can’t stay here forever. Your parents are still waiting for you to come home,” Isaac said, walking toward the bed with the blanket.
The cries and sobs from under the bed grew louder.
“Isaac, I’m so sorry. I’m sorry I let you down. Why did you come looking for me?” Diana cried.
Seeing that Diana refused to come out even after a while, favonovel.com turned and gave Harry a look.
Harry immediately closed the door, blocking the sunrays from entering the room. Then, Isaac grabbed the bed frame and toppled it over.
