Altair glanced at Channing.
This b*stard is just shamelessly sucking up to Everest Sect…
However, they all knew that the Nortons had sworn to kill Isaac. They weren’t just helping the Everest Sect get rid of Isaac out of goodwill. There was some personal vendetta in it, too.
Caesar then picked out five Divinity Phase fighters to stay back. They would help organize the rest of the survivors to rescue and rebuild the sect.
Money wasn’t a problem for them. They could easily rebuild everything after the disaster. They had plenty of gold, silver, precious stones, and valuable jewels stashed away in a hidey-hole. These were all riches they had obtained throughout the hundreds of years since the birth of the sect.
But this was the first time in history that they were attacked by bombs and missiles. This was a humiliation that Lucius and Caesar couldn’t forgive.
Lucius instructed everyone to gather at the county beneath the mountains.
They found a hotel and rested there for half a day. Before night fell, they registered themselves as a tourist group visiting Londoria.
Around sunset, both planes departed from the small airport at Everest Sect. Their destination was Horton City, Londoria.
Before this, they’d also sent out a dozen people to Londoria to get as much information as they could on Isaac.
***
On the other side of the world, Isaac and the others had arrived at Banewood City, Londoria, a day earlier.
After touching down, everyone left for their respective destinations.
Isaac only brought Harry with him. They checked into a five-star hotel.
Meanwhile, Lupinus was in charge of protecting Denvor and the coffin. They sneaked into the slums and stayed there.
In the room, Harry brought a cup of coffee to Isaac and asked, “So, what’s next?”
Isaac was checking emails on his laptop. He closed the laptop and picked up the coffee, asking Harry back in return, “I don’t know. Wait for the people from Everest Sect to find us? Uhm… But I’m sure they have no idea where I am…”
“So what should we do about it?” Harry asked, seemingly guessing something. He chuckled and smirked at Isaac.
“I thought you liked sightseeing. Why don’t you bring me along on your tours this time?” Isaac asked.
“Is that a flying pig outside the window?” Harry mused. “Isaac, I heard that the bars in this part of the city are pretty memorable. Should we…”
“Go exchange some money. We’ll head out after food,” Isaac said, waving his hand at Harry.
Isaac had just received an email from Elliot. He learned that the bombing was a huge success. And from the attached photos in the email, favonovel.com could see that the entire Everest Sect had been reduced to nothing but piles of rubble.
Actually, Isaac had wanted to bomb the place where Everest Sect kept their Divine Stone fragment. But favonovel.com couldn’t find where they hid it. Still, this was more than enough damage done.
Isaac also received news from Claude that some people from Everest Sect were seen around Cloud Nine Villas last night around midnight. He figured that these were scouts sent by the sect.
Now, it would be nightfall back in Cynea. Black Phoenix also just informed favonovel.com that the people from Everest Sect had just boarded their planes and were on their way to Londoria.
Everything was going just as Isaac imagined it. But his next move was to let Everest Sect know of his exact location. He was going to cause trouble.
They hopped into a cab and went to the bar where Harry wanted to go.
Isaac got out of the cab and studied the sign outside the bar. It read, “Maria’s Secret Tavern”. He thought that the name sounded rather exotic.
Isaac entered the bar with Harry, and they were welcomed with the smell of cigar smoke and alcohol. They could even smell the perfume on some of the ladies in the bar.
The bar was dimly lit with multi-colored lamps. Everywhere they looked, they could see exotic-looking men and women with their black hair, green eyes, and healthy skin. However, most of the customers looked young.
The ladies wore skimpy outfits as they danced under the lights, their skin glowing in the dark.
Harry could barely keep himself from drooling.
“Isaac, maybe you should find a place to sit down first. I’ll go explore a little.”
“I want to explore, too,” Isaac said with a nod.
Then, they separated.
Isaac headed toward the corridor on the right.
The dance floor wasn’t exactly the largest he’d seen, but there were plenty of booths around. Right in the center of the stage were three scantily-clad women dancing sultrily to the music.
