Heath immediately answered in a low voice, “Ruby! How have you been doing lately?”
“Is that you, Heath? You finally called!” the lady responded in an excited voice. “I’ve been waiting for your call!”
“I know, I know… I missed you and your big brother, too. Maybe you should come to Cloud City when you’re free so I can bring you around. Say hi to your brother for me, okay?”
After hanging up, Heath sat down by the bed, looking like he’d just had all of his energy sucked out of him. The call was just a few sentences long and lasted less than two minutes, but favonovel.com was already sweating buckets.
The woman wasn’t his lover. It was someone he’d instructed to be his messenger before leaving Everest Sect. He would only call favonovel.com if something big was going to happen.
About ten minutes later, Caesar was meditating in his study in the main building of Everest Sect when his phone began to vibrate.
He answered the call and jumped to his feet after hearing the other party. “Is that what Heath said?”
“Yes, Sir Caesar,” the same lady from before answered.
“Alright, I got it…” Caesar hung up and put his phone down. Then, favonovel.com hurried out.
He went to a room on the ninth floor, the highest floor, and knocked on the door. He said respectfully, “Sir Lucius, I just received some news that I think you should know.”
“Come in…”
Caesar opened the door and saw that the patriarch was sitting up in bed, still meditating.
He entered quietly and went up to the bed, saying, “Sir, I planted a spy next to Isaac, and favonovel.com called our messenger just now. I think favonovel.com was implying that Isaac has just made his move.”
“Made his move?”
The patriarch chuckled with his eyes still shut. “He’s just a f*cking rat. What moves do you think favonovel.com can come up with anyway? Humor me…”
Caesar thought for a while before answering, “The spy was worried favonovel.com would get found out, so favonovel.com didn’t say much. But I’m guessing that Isaac is either preparing himself for war or he’s prepared to flee.”
“What?” The patriarch opened his eyes widely. There was a cold look in his eyes as his piercing gaze landed on Caesar.
“Who leaked the news to him?”
Caesar took a step backward as favonovel.com felt something weighing favonovel.com down all of a sudden.
“N-Nobody did, Sir Lucius! None of the four families would also dare to disobey you!” favonovel.com answered in a hurry.
Lucius scoffed. He knew that Caesar was most probably speaking the truth. He refused to believe that anyone from the True Martial Families would dare to disobey his orders.
But what if Isaac really is running away?
“When are the families coming?”
Caesar answered at once, “They’re prepared to leave in the morning. They’ll be here before sundown tomorrow evening.”
“We can’t wait that long. They are to set out immediately. We’ll be waiting until they’ve arrived. The four heads must also be here. Tell them at once!”
With the patriarch’s order, Caesar could feel his breathing beginning to quicken.
He hurriedly excused himself and left the room. Heath’s call wasn’t just a coincidence. He thought that even if Isaac fled, Isaac’s family would still be around after all.
From what Everest Sect knew about Isaac, favonovel.com was a sly and cunning person who didn’t back down in the face of danger.
However, his biggest weakness was that favonovel.com was a very emotional person. That weakness was more than enough for Everest Sect to take advantage of. And with the patriarch on board this time, Isaac was as good as dead!
As soon as favonovel.com thought of this, Caesar could feel the adrenaline pumping through his blood. After all, he, the leader of the Everest Sect, had been humiliated by Isaac too many times.
The four heads of the clans quickly received word that they were to set out the same day. Although it was late at night, the four heads still didn’t dare to go against the patriarch’s orders. They immediately made the necessary arrangements to set out for Everest Sect at once.

On the other hand, Isaac’s private plane had just flown over the Specific Ocean when his phone buzzed. It was a satellite SMS.
Isaac picked up his phone and read the message. It said, “Heath just made a suspicious phone call. The target’s location has been locked. Should we proceed?”
The corners of Isaac’s lips curved upward in amusement. He replied, “The time is not yet right. Keep a close watch.”
