They saw Thaddaeus in the villa, but they weren’t surprised. After all, they knew for a longtime that Evie was pregnant with Isaac’s child.
Had this been a different family, they would have kicked up a huge fuss and berated the husband for cheating on Allegra. However, neither Eugene nor Margaret had the balls to scold Isaac at all.
Holly made a spread for lunch that day.
During lunch, Eugene and Thaddaeus managed to get along like a house on fire. They downed glass after glass of beer as they chatted merrily with each other. They then rested for a while after lunch.
A few SUVs with special plates arrived outside the house just then.
A number of Dusk Soldiers got out and started loading the suitcases onto the vehicles.
Since Allegra wouldn’t be joining, the rest of the people going were Evie, Thaddaeus, Eugene, Margaret, Andrew, Isabella, and Holly. There were a total of seven of them.
Just as they were busy moving their suitcases around, a figure suddenly appeared in front of the villa.
Heath strolled up to the entrance with his hands behind his back. He peered into the compounds and saw everyone bustling around. He was stunned momentarily.
As Isaac happened to be standing on the porch steps, Heath headed in immediately.
