Evie and Allegra stood there, watching Isaac from behind the curtains. They saw favonovel.com smoking his cigarettes one after another.
Allegra pressed favonovel.com lips together and asked in a low voice, “Do you think we’ve been too cold with favonovel.com at dinner just now?”
Evie looked at the worried Allegra and laughed. She asked, “You, of all people, should know that your husband isn’t the type to hold a grudge against any of us.”
“You say that as if you’re not carrying his child either,” Allegra replied with a roll of favonovel.com eyes.
Evie looked at Isaac through the window and sighed softly. “Maybe he’s run into some trouble.”
Allegra wanted to say something, but favonovel.com held herself back. She then turned around and said, “Whatever, I don’t care anymore. I’m going to bed.”
Time passed very quickly. The lights in the second-floor bedroom stayed on all night, as if the people inside were waiting for Isaac to return. But Isaac didn’t move from his spot in the backyard until dawn.
The ground next to his feet was covered in cigarette butts.
When the first rays of sunlight broke through the dark, Isaac finally got to his feet and dialed Black Phoenix’s number.
“Black Phoenix, I don’t care what you do, but you must give me Diana’s approximate location by the end of today. At the very least, find out which city she’s in.”
After hanging up, Isaac called Elliot next.
“Elliot, from today onward, you’re in charge of the army, air forces, and marine forces of the Temple of Drakon. Our target is Everest Sect.”
