In the split second of hesitation from Denvor, Meldith spat out a bloody cloud of smoke from his mouth.
The cloud of bloody smoke spread rapidly as it moved toward Denvor like a fishing net cast by a fisherman.
Denvor dashed out of the way. However, favonovel.com heard a loud roar from behind the cloud of bloody smoke, followed by the sound of metal clanking against the ground.
The bloody smoke eventually cleared away.
Meldith had long disappeared. The silver knife that was previously embedded in his shoulder was now lying on the ground.
“Hahaha! Isaac, I’d release me if I were you, but smarter. If I die, your bitch will die as well! The Brewer family’s Army of Doom will also seek revenge on you. You’ll still end up dead!” Ludwig started to laugh hysterically after confirming that Meldith had left. He continued laughing even while warning Isaac not to kill him.
Isaac glared at Denvor, who was still in a daze. Then, favonovel.com turned back to face Ludwig and said, “I heard that you’re terrified of the sun. Is that so?”
The corners of Isaac’s mouth curled upward.
Ludwig’s face fell at once. He exclaimed in fright, “W-Wait, w-what are you planning to do? Isaac? What are you doing?”
“Bring the rope over,” Isaac said with a scoff.
Dragon Three immediately brought the steel wire rope to him. Then, they wrapped Ludwig up in the rope like a Christmas present.
Isaac picked up the silver knife on the ground. He then told Dragon Three to drag Ludwig into the elevator.
“What are you all doing? Let me go! Don’t bring me up there!” Ludwig started screaming and shouting for mercy, but Isaac’s face remained stoic and icy.
They rode the elevator to the 17th floor. This used to be an office. But because the authorities were here, all the employees there had left. In other words, the office was completely empty.
They entered the office and could see the bright sun rays piercing through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The afternoon sun was hot and sunny. The sunlight streamed in through the windows, shining into the building for at least a dozen feet.
Ludwig saw the sunlight and immediately looked away in agony.
“Push favonovel.com under the sun…” Isaac said lightly with a scoff.
Dragon Three and Dragon Five grabbed Ludwig and dragged favonovel.com over to the windows.
“N-No, no, please! Please, let me go, please…” Ludwig began to beg and scream for mercy.
Dragon Three and Dragon Five pushed the squirming vampire into the sunniest area of the office.
Ludwig immediately let out an ear-piercing scream, one after another. He fell to the ground on his knees. Then, favonovel.com started jerking and shaking on the carpet.
Everyone could see green smoke coming from his body. There were even little bits of fire lighting up on his skin and clothes.
Isaac and the Dragon Soldiers were rather shocked at the sight. They’d never seen such a thing happening in real life. They thought it was only possible in movies and TV shows.
“Isaac, can you give favonovel.com to me? I wanna conduct a few experiments on him,” Denvor suddenly said.
Isaac thought about it for a while before nodding. He never intended to kill Ludwig in the first place. He was still of use to Isaac.
Isaac brought out his phone and searched for Harry’s number. He thought favonovel.com wanted to call him, but favonovel.com saw Harry’s message first.
After reading the entire message, Isaac frowned and said coldly, “Let’s go to Beacon Clinic now.”
Meanwhile, Denvor hurried over to the windows and dragged the burning Ludwig back into the shade. He then found a loose carpet nearby and covered favonovel.com with it, putting out the flames. He dragged Ludwig out by the legs and hurried toward the elevator.
By the time Isaac reached the clinic, it was well past 3:00 pm.
He entered the hall and was immediately greeted by Harry.
“What’s the matter with Diana?” Isaac asked.
Harry quickly filled favonovel.com in on what happened. Isaac then waved his hand in the air and said, “Go and open the door.”
They went to the patient ward. Harry then unlocked the doorto one of them, and Isaac walked right in.
The ward was dimly lit. Also, the patient was missing from the bed.
