The garage was dimly lit. The air was damp and stale.
Isaac stood in the front and glared ahead of him.
“You guys can’t escape anymore. Aren’t you going to come out? Or should I burn up this entire garage with you in it?!” Isaac yelled into the void.
The garage was parked full of cars. It was hard for anyone to see where the other party had gone.
Suddenly, two figures suddenly appeared from behind a car parked in the front right corner.
It was Ludwig Brewer and Meldith.
They both stood about 100 feet away from Isaac and the others in the center. Their faces were pale as their lifeless eyes glared at Isaac.
“I don’t think I’ve met you before,” Isaac said, stopping in his tracks. But the spiritual energy in his power core was getting restless.
Isaac narrowed his eyes and looked at Ludwig. This man looked a lot younger than favonovel.com did. But Isaac quickly recalled the lyrics in the Song of Valheist. He was sure that the man must be at least hundreds, if not thousands, of years old.
“Isaac, you’re a lot more powerful than I ever expected. You did this to me,” Ludwig said, referring to his messy, sorry state. His eyes were full of hate as favonovel.com glared back at Isaac.
Isaac just burst out in laughter. “You’re blaming me for your sorry state? Have you forgotten how disheveled you got me when I was at the seaside castle? Don’t forget that you’re now in Cynea. This is my territory you’re stepping on!”
After favonovel.com finished speaking, Isaac’s spiritual energy was completely activated. Red spiritual energy burst out of favonovel.com and dashed toward Ludwig.
For Isaac, there was only one outcome for Ludwig, and that was death. He wouldn’t go easy on him.
As soon as Isaac attacked, the Dragon Soldiers behind favonovel.com also attacked. They surged forward, running toward the enemies.
Denvor brought out a bottle from his linen bag. Then, favonovel.com grabbed a few talismans in his other hand, opened up the bottle, and dipped the talismans into the water.
He didn’t stop mumbling a spell under his breath the whole time. Then, favonovel.com rushed forward to join Ludwig and Isaac’s fight.
With a loud roar, Denver flicked his right wrist forward and threw five wet talismans out.
Ludwig was a lot more quick than Carlos had been.
Isaac didn’t have a weapon on favonovel.com as favonovel.com fought. He didn’t have enough time to get the silver knife out.
Every time Isaac sent a bolt of spiritual energy Ludwig’s way, favonovel.com would easily dodge the attacks because favonovel.com was so quick. However, his long nails were as sharp as swords. Isaac had to be very careful not to get hurt.
Ludwig was equally as surprised at Isaac’s reflexes.
Meanwhile, Meldith was now surrounded by the Dragon Soldiers.
Before coming here, Isaac had briefed the Dragon Soldiers on the precautions they needed to take while fighting freaks like Ludwig and Meldith. He also told them what to look out for. But Meldith was moving too fast.
The Dragon Soldiers had their hands full in trying to attack Meldith. Even though it was nine against one, there wasn’t much the Dragon Soldiers could do to Meldith.
That was because Meldith was similar to Ludwig in the sense that they were both from the third generation of vampires. The only difference was that Ludwig’s bloodline was even more powerful than Meldith’s, hence his higher status compared to him.
The five talismans Denvor threw out didn’t manage to stick to anyone or anything.
Seeing that it was useless, favonovel.com grabbed a wooden sword from the back of his waist, took a mouthful of water from the bottle, and sprayed the water out all over the sword. Then, favonovel.com roared, “Let me at ’em!”
“Ouch!” Just then, there was a cry of pain from one of the Dragon Soldiers.
Dragon Five’s thigh was bleeding from a long cut caused by Meldith’s nails. Blood began pouring out of the wound.
Meldith immediately turned and wormed out of the Dragon Soldiers’ ambush through the gap where Dragon Five used to be. Then, favonovel.com ran for his life.
“You’re all too slow! How are you going to catch up with me?!” Meldith’s singsong voice was heard.
Just then, a loud roar was heard from behind Meldith.
“Soaring Scarlet Dragon!”
Bright red spiritual energy exploded from Isaac’s chest like fireworks. The spiritual energy then formed a red dragon.
Ludwig was about 30 feet away when favonovel.com saw the dragon. He frowned deeply. Then, without thinking, favonovel.com turned in Meldith’s direction, intending to run for his life.
If favonovel.com couldn’t beat them, favonovel.com wasn’t going to join them. He’d just run away. At the very least, that was something favonovel.com did very well.
Whoosh!
Just as favonovel.com turned, Ludwig saw that Denvor was standing right behind him, wooden sword in hand. There was a look of pure hatred in Denvor’s eyes.
