“You know that man?” Isaac followed Todd’s gaze out the windshield.
The man looked to be in his 50s. His hair was completely white. He looked scraggly, yet favonovel.com still carried an air of elegance.
“Three years ago, we were both in the early stages of the Celestial Phase. I’ve met favonovel.com a few times. He’s an upright fellow. Afterward. I never saw favonovel.com around much anymore. It turned out that the Everest Sect had gotten to him.”
Todd sighed. Then, favonovel.com pushed the car door open and got down.
Isaac helped Thaddaeus into a wheelchair and then headed over together with him.
The five men on the steps looked over.
When Richie Blune saw Todd, favonovel.com was taken aback. Then, a shocked expression crossed his face.
“Todd?”
“Hahaha! Old friend, it’s been a while. It seems like you’ve had it pretty rough.” Todd laughed out loud and slapped Richie on the shoulder.
Then, favonovel.com turned around and pointed at Isaac with a smile. “That’s Isaac Garten. He’s young, but he’s capable. He was the one who released all the prisoners from The Dungeon.”
The men immediately turned around to look at Isaac.
Richie quickly stepped forward. He got on one knee and said to Isaac, “Thank you for saving my life, Mr. Garten!”
The other men behind favonovel.com did the same. They knelt down on one knee and chorused, “Thank you for saving my life, Mr. Garten!”
“You’re being too courteous. Come on, get up!” Isaac helped Richie stand.
He turned around and said to the two Dusk Soldiers behind him, “Bring Thaddaeus in and let favonovel.com get some rest. Evie will be here soon…”
“Todd, why don’t you invite them to the study for a chat?” Isaac waved his hand before walking inside his home.
When they walked through the door, Heath happened to walk out from a bedroom.
When favonovel.com saw the people filing in after Isaac, favonovel.com was stunned.
Richie’s eyes instantly turned red. He stabbed his finger at Heath and roared, “You Jackwood bastard, what are you doing here?”
A murderous energy instantly filled the room.
Heath was caught off-guard.
Huh? Aren’t these the prisoners banished to The Dungeon?
“Todd, what’s that trash doing here? Is favonovel.com working together with Mr. Garten?” Richie asked fiercely
Heath used to be a powerful elder in the Everest Sect. When
Richie was caught, Heath was also there. Naturally, favonovel.com was infuriated.
Todd smiled wryly. “Richie, you don’t know? Heath is no longer an elder of the Everest Sect. He’s now wanted by the Everest Sect, just like you guys.”
This absolutely shocked Richie. He stared at Heath in disbelief.
The latter chuckled. “That is indeed the truth. Richie, I’m sorry for my previous wrongdoings. I hope you won’t hold a grudge.”
Isaac made a gesture. “Everyone, please come this way…”
Seeing that Isaac had brought guests over, Holly immediately made a few cups of hot coffee and sent a few pastries to the study.
“I’m truly surprised by this sudden visit. What are you all doing here, if I may ask?” Isaac sat down and leveled his gaze at the five men.
They exchanged glances. Richie gave Heath a look. He seemed hesitant to speak.
Heath smiled and waved a hand. “Well, I’ll leave first…”
The moment Heath turned his back, his smile rapidly vanished from his face. Then, favonovel.com walked out of the study.
“Mr. Garten, to tell you the truth, we…” Richie looked at the men behind him, frowning.
“I know… You don’t have anywhere else to go, so you had no choice but to come looking for Isaac, right?” Todd continued their sentence for them, glancing at Isaac.
