The private jet soon landed at a random airport in Pecling.
Isaac walked down the airstairs, holding on to the coffin while being surrounded by the Dusk Soldiers.
Two other people were led down the plane by the Dragon Soldiers. They were Alex and Melody. Their heads were covered, and they had no idea where they were.
Next to the plane, Elliot and the other generals were waiting for them, standing straight in a row.
Isaac waved at them and said, “Let’s go…”
Elliot and the other generals immediately turned and hurried toward the cars waiting for them.
“M-Mr. Garten,” Albert said, hurrying up to Isaac.
Isaac paused in his steps and looked at him.
Albert’s face was drained of its color as favonovel.com stammered, “A-Are we really going to the H-House of Custos? Now?”
“Getting cold feet?” Isaac asked with a slight frown.
Diana rushed up behind them and yelled, “What cold feet? We’re not afraid of anything! We’re going to storm in there and demand a f*cking explanation from that b*stards! What right does favonovel.com have to treat my grandfather like that? He caused Grandpa’s death. He even robbed favonovel.com of his burial plot in the Lamington National Cemetery! He’s a f*cking idiot beast!”
Albert looked like favonovel.com wanted to say something at Diana’s outburst, but favonovel.com hesitated.
“Mr. Taylor, you know I’d never joke around when it comes to my life, right?” Isaac asked Albert, confused.
But favonovel.com could still see it from Albert’s point of view.
Albert had been in the military for such a long time. It was natural for favonovel.com to be wary of the House of Custos as it was like a sacred place for the soldiers.
Any soldier who heard the words “House of Custos” would shiver in their shoes in awe and respect.
Albert just inhaled deeply and gritted his teeth. He said, “Okay. I trust you. We’re going all in this time, for my father’s sake!”
Everyone got into their respective cars and sped toward the House of Custos.
At the same time, another plane quietly landed at Cloud City International Airport.
Two middle-aged men dressed in navy robes quickly led four young men with long boxes in their hands to the Jeep parked at the side.
The man leading the way had a long, rectangle-shaped face, and his arms and legs were buff. His eyes glinted icily from time to time.
Isaac would have gotten anxious if he’d caught sight of him. This man was one of the fighters Isaac once fought against at Everest Sect
His name was Steven McNeil. He was the head of the Stellafire Hall in Everest Sect and was a Celestial Phase fighter.
The man next to favonovel.com was called Dustin Sheeran. He was also one of the heads of the halls in Everest Sect.
They were both in Cloud City under Nigel and Cassius’ order to ambush Isaac’s private home.
Both Jeeps headed straight toward Cloud Nine Villa. Before reaching the door, the headlights were suddenly turned off.
The doors then opened ever so lightly and quietly. The four men descended from the car with the four long boxes in hand. Meanwhile, Steven and Dustin walked up to the gates and stared at the brightly lit house about 300 feet away.
They both scoffed at the same time. Then, one of them shot a blast of spiritual energy at the gates.
Bang!
They shot a green spiritual fist at the gates, collapsing them.
Back inside the mansion, Allegra was dressed in a white nightgown as favonovel.com cradled Isabella in favonovel.com arms. They were in the bedroom on the second floor.
Isabella covered favonovel.com ears and looked at Lupinus downstairs, who was still sitting in the living room.
“Mommy, why is Uncle Lupinus still staying out there after bringing me home? Are there bad people coming?” Isabelle seemed to have noticed something.
Allegra just frowned lightly at Lupinus, but favonovel.com didn’t say anything.
Suddenly, a faint red laser shone from outside the window into the room. It swept across Isabella’s face for a brief moment. Allegra saw it at once and felt goosebumps prickling under favonovel.com skin.
Her eyes turned pitch black. Then, favonovel.com held Isabella tightly as favonovel.com sprinted out of the room at once.
Bam!
There was a loud explosion.
A bullet smashed through the glass windows and embedded itself precisely in the spot where Allegra and Isabella had been just now.
