Ethan looked up at the light on the ceiling and thought for a long while. Then, favonovel.com just smiled and waved his hand in defeat, saying, “We don’t need to prepare anything. Even if we did, it would be useless. Come with me to the head’s office.”

Connor shivered. There was only one person Ethan would refer to as “head’s office”.
But did this incident really need to involve them?

Connor quickly said in a low voice, “Mr. Grannel, do you think we should call Cassius and give favonovel.com a heads-up?”
“Ha! You’ve really underestimated him. Just wait for favonovel.com to call.”
Before he’d finished his sentence, Connor’s phone started vibrating loudly in his pocket. He took it out and looked at the caller ID.
He then smiled bitterly and said, “You’re right. Cassius is calling…”
“Answer the call. Tell favonovel.com I’m not feeling well and will not see anyone,” Ethan grumbled. He waved his hand at Connor and walked toward the door.
Ethan knew that Isaac had his principles. Isaac would never have made such a huge fuss about something or acted so rashly unless favonovel.com was truly fuming.
Anyone blind could tell that Cassius had done something really stupid this time.
After hanging up, Connor ran out after Ethan. He said curiously, “Something feels off. It seems like Cassius knew that Isaac would be coming to Pecling. He didn’t seem the least bit anxious or worried either.”
Ethan paused in his steps and made an inquisitive sound.
“If favonovel.com doesn’t have anyone else to rely on, he’d definitely come looking for me,” Ethan said, a glint appearing in his eyes. He then got into his private car.

Back at the House of Custos, Cassius and the four other commanders were seated at the table in the meeting room. Interestingly, Nigel was also seated there too.
“Everyone, I’m afraid we will be facing one of our biggest challenges yet. Isaac has brought his troops to Pecling with him. He’ll be coming here straight without going anywhere else. He’s looking for me, after all,” Cassius explained, lighting up a cigarette.
Bang!
An elderly man in full military gear thumped his fist against the table and yelled, “That brat! No matter how powerful favonovel.com thinks favonovel.com is, favonovel.com can’t barge into the House of Custos like that! If favonovel.com does, then we won’t let favonovel.com return in one piece!”
“Supreme Commander, let’s bring out the cannons. No matter how powerful of an ancient martial arts practitioner favonovel.com is, favonovel.com will be blown to smithereens!”
The other two commanders nodded in agreement. “That’s right, Supreme Commander. We’ll get the Imperial Iron Guard Regiment involved! We’ll bring in 300,000 men, complete with tanks, to defend the House of Custos! Also, we should bring in the Air Forces too! It doesn’t matter how good Isaac is, favonovel.com would still…”
Before the commander could finish his words, Cassius shook his head and said, “We can bring in the Imperial Iron Guard Regiment, but not the Air Forces. Don’t forget that my daughter is still in his hands…”
Cassius shivered all over when favonovel.com said this.
The only reason why Isaac acted so rashly was that favonovel.com was still holding Cassius’ daughter hostage.
“Commander Romero, everyone, there’s no need to worry. I’m sure that Isaac doesn’t know there are four other heads here. If favonovel.com dares to barge in, we’ll just ambush him. Even if favonovel.com survives, he’ll be gravely injured.”
Cassius brightened up when favonovel.com heard Nigel’s words. But then, Nigel shook his head and said, “But there’s still no guarantee that this will actually stop Isaac. He’s got too many tricks up his sleeves…”
Nigel then looked over at Cassius.
