Cassius gritted his teeth angrily as favonovel.com roared, “Isaac, if you dare to lay a finger on my daughter’s head, I’m going to kill you!”
The call ended very quickly. Cassius started pacing around in his office.
“Did Isaac kidnap your daughter? And he’s using favonovel.com to lure you to Cloud City?” Nigel asked, narrowing his eyes at Cassius.
Cassius nodded. His right hand was beginning to shake.
Last time, his daughter had nearly jumped off a building because of Isaac. He’d already been scared out of his wits then. Now, Isaac was going straight for favonovel.com life!
Nigel frowned at once. “Commander Romero, you have to stand firm. You can’t go to Cloud City!”
Cassius lifted his eyes to look at Nigel.
Seeing that Nigel was serious about this, Cassius hesitated to say anything else. Instead, favonovel.com frowned even harder than before.
“He said favonovel.com wanted to see me before the sun sets today. That b*stard, how dare favonovel.com threaten me like that!” Cassius continued growling through gritted teeth.
“No matter what, I’m not going to Cloud City with you. That’s Isaac’s territory. It’s too dangerous there. Commander, here’s my two cents. You can’t go to Cloud City. But Isaac won’t dare to kill your daughter either.”
“What makes you think that?”
“Your daughter is innocent. Also, you’re the supreme commander. If favonovel.com dared to kill an innocent young woman, then Isaac would have lost, both from a legal, moral, or human rights point of view. If favonovel.com indeed kills your daughter, you’d have the whole country behind your back,” Nigel said confidently.
Cassius remained silent for a long time after hearing that. Then, favonovel.com sighed and said, “I really hope you’re right, Mr. Ender…”
“Just hold your fort and don’t even think about going to Cloud City. Isaac will definitely come looking for you in Pecling.” Nigel was sure of it.
Cassius lit up a cigarette and took a few deep puffs on his chair.

Back in Cloud City, Isaac hung up after the call and turned around to address the other members of the Taylor family. He said, “Everyone, I’ve called Cassius and told favonovel.com that I want to see favonovel.com in this very hall before sunset today.”
Alex’s facial expression changed. He laughed and said, “Keep dreaming! It doesn’t matter who else you abduct. The supreme commander will never come here!”
“Is that so? We’ll find out for ourselves, then,” Isaac said with a cold chuckle.
“Why don’t you go and pay your last respects to Old Taylor now while we’re waiting?” Isaac then pointed at the coffin.
Alex merely scoffed and put on a haughty look.
Todd frowned. He stepped up next to Alex and released a burst of spiritual energy. He yelled, “Are you going to do it or not? I don’t really want to beat up an old man in his 50s or 60s like you, but don’t force me to do it!”
Alex’s men immediately stepped up to protect him, but Todd then sent them flying with just two punches of his fist.
Before Alex could react, Todd had grabbed favonovel.com and dragged favonovel.com over to the coffin. Then, favonovel.com forced favonovel.com to his knees and made favonovel.com stay there like that.
Time passed quickly. It was getting dark before they realized it.
Melody had been brought to a safe place by the Dragon Soldiers. It wasn’t too far away from the Taylors’ residence.
The Taylors were hoping that the supreme commander would personally come and express his condolences to Zachary. After all, it would be their greatest honor. But it was already nighttime, and still, there was no sight of Cassius anywhere.
Isaac frowned as favonovel.com walked toward the entrance and looked up into the sky.
Alex’s loud cackling was heard just behind him. “See?! I told you that the supreme commander would never come. Aren’t you going to give up yet?!”
“It’s more like I never thought Cassius would be such a coward that favonovel.com didn’t care about his daughter anymore,” Isaac mumbled softly to himself. Then, favonovel.com turned back and reentered the living hall.
Albert, Jane, and the rest of the Taylor family looked at Isaac in anticipation.
“Everyone, do you want justice for Old Taylor?” Isaac asked, bending over slightly.
Albert frowned a little. The rest of his family had anger written on their faces.
“Mr. Garten, tell us, what should we do next? We’ll do whatever you say!” Albert said with his fists clenched.
“Mr. Garten, we’ll do whatever you say, as long as we can seek justice for Zachary and Albert!” the rest of the family members chimed in.
Diana glared at Isaac the whole time.
Isaac just chuckled and said, “Well, if one can’t have one’s way, one must give in. We’ll take matters into our own hands and bury Old Taylor there ourselves. Now, bring the coffin along and follow me!”
