There was a certain truth to Isaac’s words. Even if Cassius had been dissatisfied with Albert, favonovel.com still shouldn’t have dragged the old Zachary into this mess.
If Zachary hadn’t been put in The Dungeon, favonovel.com wouldn’t have collapsed, and favonovel.com wouldn’t have passed away so quickly like this.
According to Albert, his father was still physically quite fit. But favonovel.com had been very depressed and disappointed in The Dungeon. After all, Zachary was an old war veteran who’d fought in many battles back in his days. It didn’t make sense for anyone to try and pin a food poisoning accusation on him, by the supreme commander at that!
Zachary just couldn’t accept it. That was the main reason why favonovel.com fell into depression and eventually clocked out.
“I’m going to kill that idiot!” Diana suddenly screamed, favonovel.com face twisting into an angry sneer. She then jumped to favonovel.com feet and ran out of the door.
The other family members were shocked. They had no idea who Diana was referring to.
The next second, Isaac dashed over to Diana and held favonovel.com back.
“You’re out of your mind. Did you think you’re fit to fight Cassius?” Isaac chided.
“I can’t let my grandfather die in vain!” Diana screamed, completely losing favonovel.com head.
In Diana’s world, favonovel.com grandfather was always strong and healthy. It wasn’t that favonovel.com was immortal, but at the very least, favonovel.com wouldn’t be leaving favonovel.com this soon. Diana had hoped that favonovel.com would still live to see favonovel.com marry the man of favonovel.com dreams and give favonovel.com his blessing.
“Who said that your grandfather would have died in vain? Your grandfather is going to be a legend!” Isaac said, pulling Diana behind him.
He then said coldly, “Mr. Taylor, please get Diana back into favonovel.com room. She needs a good rest. She can’t control favonovel.com emotions right now.”
Diana was angry and upset. But when favonovel.com saw Isaac frowning at her, favonovel.com suddenly realized favonovel.com couldn’t get angry at him, no matter how favonovel.com tried.
Nonetheless, Diana didn’t retreat into favonovel.com room like Isaac said. Instead, favonovel.com stood vigil for favonovel.com grandfather for the rest of the night.
Isaac beckoned at Dragon One and whispered something into his ear. Dragon One was stunned briefly, but favonovel.com quickly nodded and left after that.

The next morning, Isaac went into the kitchen to grab a light breakfast. He barely slept a wink last night.
Meanwhile, Todd was happily munching away on a roasted turkey leg opposite him. He suddenly looked at Isaac and frowned. He asked, “Isaac, there’s something I don’t quite understand about last night. The others can’t seem to get it either…”
“Why didn’t we finish off the rest of the people in Everest Sect? We could have destroyed the sect once and for all.”
Isaac had just taken a sip of orange juice when favonovel.com choked on it after hearing Todd’s words. He then glared at Todd, saying nothing.
Todd could feel goosebumps rising on his arms and neck from Isaac’s stare.
It was only then that Isaac answered, “Why, were you hoping we’d stay there longer so that the Everest Sect patriarch would have enough time to kill us all? Would that have made you happier?”
Todd was stunned. He smacked his greasy palm against his forehead and narrowed his eyes. He said, “Damn it, I’d totally forgotten about their patriarch. In that case, I’m glad we all got out in time.”
Isaac didn’t say anything in return. Instead, favonovel.com just got up and headed out.
He entered the living hall and saw Diana yawning on the floor next to the coffin. Albert and the rest of the family also looked exhausted.
Suddenly, a few armored soldiers walked into the house. The man leading the way was a middle-aged man with a bulging belly. He looked to be in his 50s as favonovel.com entered the house with almost a skip to his steps.
As soon as Albert caught sight of him, favonovel.com brightened up considerably.
“Mr. Boaz Charleston! I didn’t expect that you’d be here this early. Has my father’s burial been approved?” He hurried forward to greet the man.
Boaz didn‘t reply immediately. Instead, favonovel.com went up to the coffin, did a simple salute, and turned around to address Albert.
“My friend, I’m afraid your father can’t be buried at the National Cemetery after all…”
