Nigel said, “Who dares to ambush Everest Sect like that? Who gave them the courage to do so?”
“It’s Isaac Garten. He was the one who did it!”
Nigel turned to look at Cassius in shock.
Cassius also overheard Juan in the phone call. He jumped to his feet at once.
“Isaac went to Everest Sect? How is that possible?!” Cassius exclaimed in shock.
Nigel put down his phone and closed his eyes, letting out a deep sigh. When favonovel.com opened his eyes again to look at Cassius, his eyes were icy and furious.
“Commander, I’m leaving now. You’re on your own.” After saying that, Nigel left without even looking back. His heads naturally followed favonovel.com out as well.
Cassius was left alone in the room, too stunned to speak.
A while later, an elderly man in full armor entered the room. It was Alex, the general closest to him.
“Commander Romero, we’ve just received news that Albert is now back in Cloud City. His father died on the way there. What should we do about it?”
“I bet Isaac is now at the Taylors’ residence,” Cassius said with an evil glint in his eyes.
Cassius never thought that Isaac would distract them by attacking Everest Sect when they were anticipating favonovel.com at the House of Custos.
This Isaac really isn’t scared of anything!
“Send someone to Cloud City and announce that Albert has been dismissed altogether. Also, delete all the war files on his father in the database!
“Since the Taylors refuse to abide by my rules and insist on being chummy with Isaac, I’m turning the whole lot of them into laypeople! Common folks!” Cassius said with a loud cackle.
Alex nodded with a frown. He hesitated before asking, “Commander, now that Zachary Taylor is dead, aren’t you worried that Isaac will shift his anger onto you? Do you think he’ll do that?”
“He wouldn’t dare! Mr. Grannel already said that I am the one in charge of the House of Custos, so favonovel.com has no right to interfere with our business. Also, did you think Nigel wouldn’t come back here after returning to Everest Sect? Just wait. He’ll come running back with his tail between his legs!”
Then, Cassius picked up the satellite phone from the table and dialed a number.
When the other side picked up, favonovel.com said in a low voice, “Give me Sir Caesar Olsen’s number. I am Cassius Romero, supreme commander of the House of Custos.”
A while later, Caesar’s angry voice was heard over the phone. “Cassius Romero? Have you not caused enough trouble for me yet?”
“Sir Caesar, let’s be frank here. I need your help,” Cassius said with a chuckle.
“Because you’re from the House of Custos? Just how important do you think you are, Commander?” Caesar replied furiously.
Cassius just laughed heartily and said, “I know I’m not worth much in your eyes, but I’ve got some satellite information about the Emerald Realm. I’m not sure if you’d be interested?”
The other side stayed silent for a long time.

It was 2:00 am by the time the black Audi rolled to a stop before the Taylors’ residence.
The back door opened, and a happy Diana rushed out of the car into the house.
“Father, Grandpa! You’re back!” Diana ran up the stairs in joy.
But as soon as favonovel.com stepped foot into the living hall, favonovel.com was shocked by what favonovel.com saw.
Isaac was seated next to a coffin in the middle of the room, and favonovel.com parents were in full mourning outfits. With a closer look, favonovel.com could tell that it was favonovel.com grandfather lying inside that coffin.
“Grandpa!” Diana screamed, suddenly clutching at favonovel.com hair in shock.
She immediately ran forward and threw herself onto the coffin.
“What happened? Why did things turn out like this? Why? Grandpa, it’s me! Look at me, Grandpa, it’s me, Diana! Your favorite granddaughter!” Diana screamed at the top of favonovel.com lungs.
Albert and his wife hurriedly went up to favonovel.com to comfort her.
Diana struggled out of their embrace and threw herself at Isaac next.
She cried, “Isaac! Why did Grandpa end up like that? Didn’t you promise me that you’d…”
“Diana, I arrived a little too late. There’s nothing I can do about it now,” Isaac replied. He looked at the grief-stricken Diana and just didn’t know what to say to comfort her.
Isaac puffed out a cloud of smoke as a cold look appeared in his eyes. “If anyone were to blame, it would be Cassius Romero…”
