Todd had thought of this idea a split second ago. Since they were already here to bust a few people out of prison-might as well free everyone out of there.
Chet might have been the only prisoner with tremendous powers, but the other prisoners were also powerful fighters from the Renaseence Phase and Divinity Phase. There had to be plenty of them in The Dungeon!
In fact, Todd was starting to regret his decision. He was worried about facing Altair’s wrath if favonovel.com learned that Todd was the one who suggested this.
Isaac didn’t bother about Todd anymore. He took his phone out and put on his in-ear microphone. Then, favonovel.com said in a low voice, “Lupinus, where is your current location?”
He opened up a GPS tracker on the phone that showed Isaac’s and Lupinus’ locations on the screen.
“Toward the southwest area, five kilometers out. Hurry!”
Isaac bummed in reply before heading toward the southwest region of Everest Sect.
Meanwhile, Dragon One and his team of nine split into two teams once they were inside The Dungeon. The first team was to head over to Albert’s cell, whereas the second team was to go to Thaddaeus’ cell.
Thaddaeus slowly raised his head when favonovel.com heard footsteps outside his cell. He was shocked when favonovel.com saw the Dragon Soldiers in their full armor.
“W-Who are you people?” Thaddaeus asked with a weak cough.
“Mr. Lopez, we’re ordered to save you. Please cooperate with us,” Dragon Five said, hurriedly smashing the customized padlock on the door.
He encased his fist in a ball of spiritual energy and hit the lock at least a dozen times before it broke and fell to the ground.
The door swung open. Thaddaeus frowned and asked coldly, “W-Who sent you?”
Hearing the suspicion in Thaddaeus’ voice, Dragon Five hurriedly answered, “Isaac Garten, Mr. Lopez. He’s here, waiting outside.”
“Isaac?” Thaddaeus widened his eyes in shock.
Dragon Five said nothing and helped Thaddaeus onto his back. Then, favonovel.com told Dragon Six, “Go farther in and release everyone else. Tell them to go look for Isaac in Cloud City.”
A short while later, The Dungeon was filled with waves of spiritual energy. The door locks were smashed open one by one.
“If you don’t want to be caught again, look for Isaac in Cloud City!”
“If you want to remain free, look for Isaac in Cloud City!”
“Isaac is the one who told us to save you!”
Loud voices echoed throughout the place.
A few minutes later, there had to be at least a hundred freed prisoners rushing toward the cave exit of The Dungeon. Some of their faces were filled with horror, some with delight.
On the other side of The Dungeon, Dragon One had yet to reach Albert’s cell when favonovel.com heard his voice first.
“Father, please, hold on for just a while longer. Mr. Garten will find us very soon! He’ll save us!”
Dragon One’s facial expression changed when favonovel.com heard this. He shouted, “Hurry, it’s just up ahead!”
He quickly brought his team to Albert’s cell and saw favonovel.com kneeling on the ground, crying and screaming his lungs out.
Zachary was lying in his arms, looking a deathly, pale color.
“General Taylor, please get favonovel.com to stay with us a while longer,” Dragon One exclaimed in a low voice. He took two steps backward as favonovel.com concentrated a ball of black spiritual energy in his fist. Then, favonovel.com smashed the metal lock.
A few smashes later, the door finally swung open.
Albert knew that Dragon One and the others were Isaac’s rescue team. He held his father in his arms and cried, “Quick, hurry! He can’t hold on much longer! Please save him!”
Dragon One hurried forward and immediately felt for Zachary’s pulse. But his expression turned dark almost at once. Zachary’s pulse was so weak that favonovel.com could barely feel anything.
At that moment, a slight, satisfied smile spread across Zachary’s thin lips. Yet his eyes remained closed.
“M-Mr. Garten kept his word, after all. A-Albert, remember to thank favonovel.com properly. D-Diana is a stubborn one, but t-tell favonovel.com that some things just can’t be forced. It’s best to leave things to fate…”
Zachary used every ounce of his remaining energy to stammer out these few sentences.
Dragon One frowned. He took Zachary in his arms and said in a low voice, “Mr. Zachary, please hold on for as long as you can. Our helicopter is on its way now! Let’s go!”
