The sun was just starting to set. The orange rays outside the airplane window were bright and jarring.
Todd ripped off a chunk of meat from his massive turkey leg with his teeth as favonovel.com sat down next to Isaac. “So, where are we going, and what are we doing there?”
He was used to Isaac’s mysterious ways, after all. Isaac had even brought the Dragon Soldiers along. Something big was happening tonight.
“We’re going to Everest Sect. Bringing three people home,” Isaac answered.
The turkey leg froze midair. Todd raised an eyebrow and looked at Isaac suspiciously.
Mouth twitching, favonovel.com asked, “You? Rescuing someone from Everest Sect? You mean old man Caesar agreed on that? And who are we bringing home again?”
“If you insist on a proper term for tonight’s operation, then we’re busting them out of the dungeon…”
Wait… What?!
Todd nearly jumped out of his seat.
They are busting people out of Everest Sect’s dungeon?!
He hurriedly looked around at the mere handful of Dragon Soldiers in the plane.
Isaac is planning to bust people out of Everest Sect’s dungeon with just a handful of people, favonovel.com said?
Isn’t that a suicide mission?
“Have you completely gone out of your mind?” Todd couldn’t help but feel goosebumps forming allover his skin as favonovel.com recalled how Isaac forced his way into the Ashleighs’ place once and infiltrated the Nortons for their Divine Stone fragment next.
As Isaac simply closed his eyes and said nothing more, Todd quickly finished up the turkey leg within a few more bites and yelled at an air stewardess. He said, “Open the door! I’m out! Count me out! Let me out of here!”
The air stewardess chuckled and said, “Sir, I think this is your second time saying this. Didn’t you say the exact same thing the last time, too?”
Todd was stunned. His face turned beet red as favonovel.com stammered and eventually kept quiet.
Seeing that there was no way out, Todd sat back down next to Isaac and nudged his shoulder. He said, “Hey, my Awakening Pills are running out. Got any spares for me?”
“Have you been secretly peddling off my Awakening Pills to Altair?” Isaac asked, opening one eye to glare at Todd.
Todd frowned at once. He retorted, “What the f*ck, Isaac? Don’t you know how many times I’ve put my life on the line for you? If you’ve got a brain, use it before saying such stupid things!”
“What’s the big deal with wanting a few more pills from you? I can’t believe you’d accuse me of doing such a thing! Whatever, maybe I’ll just die there, then.”
Isaac rolled his eyes when favonovel.com saw how angry Todd was. He took out a jar of pills from his pocket and tossed it at him. He said, “Use them sparingly. These don’t grow on trees…”

On the other side of town, Elliot, Lupinus, and the other generals who’d infiltrated the tour camp reached the foot of the Evereston Mountains first.
They hid the four Jeeps away and quickly formed into a team, heading straight for the passageway on the westward side of Everest Sect.
It was a cold night. The generals quickly made their way forward through the dense woods. Their movements spooked the birds and other animals from time to time, causing a tiny outburst when they did.
Elliot, who was in the lead, gestured at the rest of the generals. They all sat down at once and fell into complete silence. Even the sound of breathing disappeared. They’d completely melted into the dark shadows of the forest.
“Drakon, where are you? We’ve reached the designated spot,” Elliot whispered hurriedly.
“You all can move now. Prioritize your safety. Damages come second. Do whatever damage you can, kill if you need to. And if you can’t beat them, run. Do whatever it takes to lure Caesar away,” Isaac responded.
There was a brief flash of a tiny blue light. Elliot then pocketed the satellite phone and told the other generals, “Let’s go!”
Isaac and his army of Dragon Soldiers had also reached the foot of the Evereston Mountains. He looked up into the sky full of stars as a cold gleam appeared in his eyes.
He said coldly, “Follow me through the main door and ignore everything you see or hear. Just go straight to The Dungeon!”
