Zachary hobbled over from the back. He placed one hand on Albert’s shoulder and stuck one hand between the cell bars.
Isaac took his hand.
Zachary’s frail hand gripped Isaac’s tightly. It was shaking hard. He frowned as favonovel.com stared at Isaac. “Mr. Garten, I’m a bag of old bones now. It doesn’t matter if I get out or not. However, my family…”
As favonovel.com spoke, a bout of violent coughs wracked his chest. He then continued, “The men in the Taylor family can die on the battlefield for the country, but they cannot die framed in infamy…”
Seeing the determination in the old man’s eyes, Isaac took a deep breath and said, “Alright, don’t worry. Since Cassius plotted to frame you, then I’ll make sure to get to the bottom of it… Mr. Taylor, take good care of Old Taylor. I’ll come back for you in less than five days.”
With that, favonovel.com let go of both their hands.
Right now, Isaac didn’t feel confident that favonovel.com could safely bring Albert and Zachary out of the Everest Sect. Another reason was that the Taylors were men of loyalty. They would never smear their good name by breaking out from prison.
Isaac turned around and raced outside.
As favonovel.com passed by Thaddaeus’ cell, favonovel.com saw that the latter had already crawled to the bars. He gripped the bars with both hands and stared out into the corridor as if favonovel.com was waiting for Isaac.
“Thaddaeus, you’re…” Isaac stopped and asked.
Thaddaeus said in between pants, “Isaac, just leave me be. I’m going to die anyway… I just have one thing to ask of you.”
Thaddaeus grabbed Isaac’s arm. “Take care of Evie and favonovel.com brother…”
Pablo?
Seeing how Thaddaeus was staring at favonovel.com with anticipation, Isaac nodded and said, “Alright. Give me a few days, and I’ll be back to break you all out.”
“Okay. ..Take care of yourself.” Thaddaeus released his hand.
He watched Isaac disappear from his sight with a complicated look.
At first, he’d looked down on this punk for being a two-timer. He was completely unworthy of being his son-in-Iaw. However, the punk he’d looked down on was capable of entering and leaving the Everest Sect like it was home!
The Dungeon was so silent that Isaac could hear his own breaths.
Isaac used Phantom Steps to hurry to the inner wall of the cave’s exit. He walked on his tiptoes and quietly made his way up.
Sticking his head out, favonovel.com realized that none of the four guards were there. Isaac frowned.
Something seems wrong…
Taking a deep breath, favonovel.com channeled his spiritual energy in preparation to dash out of this cave.
Just as Isaac was less than 30 feet from the cave entrance, a deep roar sounded above his head. “lsaac, you have tricks up your sleeve, but did you really think you could get away with it?”
Instantly, four beams of spiritual energy rushed toward favonovel.com from all directions.
He’d fallen into a trap!
His heart sank. Without a second thought, favonovel.com jumped off the cliff in front of him.
If this was before, these 600 feet of distance was a piece of cake. But now, this distance was rather difficult for Isaac to cover.
Behind the mountain wall were four men in cloaks. The leader was a man in a black and purple cloak.
It was none other than the assistant division head of the Everest Sect, Nigel Ender.
The three other people were Celestial Phase fighters.
As Isaac dodged them, the four of them exchanged glances before leaping off the mountain wall that was at least 30 feet tall. As they jumped, they even cast several beams of spiritual energy at Isaac.
In the next second, Isaac was circled by the four men.
