Normally, Cantonne Paragon was open to the public as an outdoor park. They could jog there or hang out on the benches while enjoying the sea View.
The place was also connected to Highway 99, making it easily accessible by cars and public transport. But since it was right in front of the Governor’s Palace, no commercial events had ever been allowed to take place.
The car slowed to a stop at the south entrance to the place where the administration office was located. Nick and Isaac hurried in.

“Excuse me, sir. We’re here to see the director, Mr. Sterling Harrington,” Nick said politely to the guard.

Nick nodded. The guard then waved his hand with a frown and said, “I think you should forget about it. Everyone’s on their toes now because we don’t know who the new governor will be. The director wouldn’t dare to make such a huge decision on his own.”

Seeing that the two of them insisted, the guard took out his walkie-talkie and spoke into it.

Isaac noticed that the guard looked torn. He chuckled and said, “Never mind about that. Can you tell us where the toilet is? We’ll just go there and be on our way. We won’t cause any trouble.”
“Sure, no problem at all. Take the elevator to the second floor and turn right immediately. The toilets are right there.”
After getting into the elevator, Isaac asked Nick, “You know where the director’s office is, right?”
Nick was shocked. “Aren’t you going to the toilet?”
“There are so many public toilets out there. Why must I pee in the toilets inside this building?” Isaac retaliated.
Nick was at a loss for words. Isaac spoke as if everything favonovel.com said were true.
They rode the elevator to the topmost floor. They came out of the elevator and were welcomed with a softer carpet on the ground. There was also a light fragrance in the air, with comfortably lit corridors and bright walls that would easily put anyone in a good mood.
As expected of Cantonne, known for its soaring property prices. It wasn’t surprising to see a government building decorated so nicely like this.
Nick went to peek around the corner. He turned to Isaac and exclaimed, “The guards aren’t here. Luck is on our side! Let’s go in. Hurry!”
Isaac stared at Nick for a brief moment and sighed. He smiled as favonovel.com shook his head in amusement.
Nick must really want to help Serena hold the concert as much as possible. Otherwise, favonovel.com wouldn’t have to do this. He used to be a member of one of the biggest boy groups back then, for crying out loud! He wouldn’t stoop so low to do this.

There was a sudden bang. Nick was so shocked that favonovel.com almost screamed.
It was Isaac. He’d used his foot to kick the door open. It didn’t matter what locks or bolts were holding the door shut.
The desk inside was exactly facing the door. The office was wide and luxuriously decorated.
A balding middle-aged man was lying on the couch while favonovel.com embraced a young, blonde woman in his arms.
The woman saw Isaac and Nick entering from the door and shrieked. She immediately jumped up from the middle-aged man’s body and pulled favonovel.com skirt back up in a hurry.
