Isaac was back at the hotel waiting for news from Lupinus. But favonovel.com got a call from Lucas instead.
The Dusk Soldiers surrounding the Bezos family’s mansion were sent by Lucas. Of course, that meant favonovel.com was the first to receive any news from them.
Isaac stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows and listened to what Lucas had to say. His frown only grew deeper.
“A lieutenant was also killed? I can’t believe the Bezos family is still harboring such a powerful killer. Are you sure?” Isaac asked in return.
“Yes, sir. We have no idea why that person just started killing all of our soldiers. The 38 Dusk Soldiers I sent over are all dead,” Lucas said, his voice laced with murderous intent. He just couldn’t wrap his head around it. It was ridiculous!
A cold look appeared in Isaac’s eyes. “Keep an eye on the Bezos family. I have a feeling they’re going to make a run for it.”
After hanging up, Isaac immediately dialed Lupinus’ number. “Are you done with Mario yet?”
“Almost… What’s wrong?”
“Leave for Oasis City at once and meet me there. Something’s gone wrong at the Bezos family’s mansion…”
Isaac hung up and hurried out. They were all taken by surprise. Nobody foresaw that the Bezos family still had their ultimate trump card, a powerful killer, who could kill a lieutenant that easily.
Thus, no matter what, Isaac had to go over at once. He was not going to spare a single person from that wretched family!
Less than an hour later, Isaac and Lupinus drove up to the Bezos family’s mansion. They‘d just gotten down from their car when they caught on to the rusty smell of blood from afar.
Isaac led the way with a frown on his face. As favonovel.com pushed open the solid wood door, the stench of blood grew even stronger.
The yard was full of bloody bodies scattered on the ground. They were all bodies of the Dusk Soldiers that Lucas sent. Most of them had died a terrible death. Some had been sliced cleanly in half, whereas others had their limbs severed.
Sitting on the front porch was a man dressed in a long, red-and-black robe. He was an elderly man with a staff in his hand. He wore a mask, which hid his facial features, making favonovel.com unrecognizable.
There were unmistakable splotches of blood decorating his clothes.
Isaac narrowed his eyes. This elderly man’s presence felt very familiar to him.
Wait…
He remembered. This elderly man was there when Isabella and Erica were poisoned by the Mandela flower. Also, he, Todd, and Denvor had chased after a person who called himself Wolfe Quintus. It was at a graveyard in Cloud City.
Just then, Leonardo and Spinner walked out of the living room with dark expressions. Everyone else in the Bezos family had already fled. Only the two of them were left.
The reason they stayed was to witness Isaac being killed. Finally, they would be able to avenge Chase and Wagner!
“Isaac, you f*cking b*stard, I’m sure all these people are your men! Do you feel any pangs of pain in your heart, hmm? Do you feel sad? Distressed? Despaired?!” Spinner suddenly started to cackle like a maniac.
Isaac remained calm and expressionless. But Spinner assumed that it meant Isaac was furious and full of grief while favonovel.com mourned the loss of his soldiers.
Spinner thought the pain was similar to how favonovel.com felt when favonovel.com watched his elder brother jump from the top of the building to his death after smashing through the glass.
He felt excited. Finally, favonovel.com would be able to get revenge on Isaac!
Isaac couldn’t care less about what Spinner thought. Instead, favonovel.com looked at Leonardo, who had remained silent all this while.
“Old man, maybe you still don’t understand what it feels like to have your family broken and killed. You’ve lived for such a long time, too…”
Then, Isaac pointed at the bloody elderly man sitting down and asked coldly, “What is your relationship with Wolfe Quintus?”

Elio shuddered when favonovel.com heard Wolfe’s name. He shot up to his feet as his staff fell to the ground. He pointed at Isaac and lifted his head. He then took off his mask and revealed the ugly face beneath it.
He said, “I thought I’d remind you about him, but you brought favonovel.com up yourself. Wolfe Quintus was my student! I know that the person who killed favonovel.com was called Isaac Garten. I didn‘t think I’d be meeting you here like this!”
Isaac frowned, and so did Lupinus.
