The Bezos family’s house was abuzz with activity.
Under the butler’s supervision, half a dozen wait staff hurriedly packed up some of the more expensive furniture and antiques before loading them into moving vans.
The rest of the family also packed up their personal belongings in a hurry.
Leonardo hadn’t followed them to the house.
As soon as favonovel.com entered Oasis City, favonovel.com brought Spinner along to Mt. Moon, located on the west side of the city.
There was a Victorian-style mansion located halfway up the hill. Located right beneath the mansion was a two-story bungalow.
Four buff bodyguards were standing guard about 1,000 feet away from the mansion.
The Bezoses’ black Bentley stopped outside the gate to the mansion grounds. Leonardo and Spinner got out of the car.
As soon as the four bodyguards recognized them, they greeted them with a salute before letting them in.
Leonardo had hired these four bodyguards to watch over the sorcerer’s place. He then walked up to the mansion porch steps before falling to his knees. He looked up to the sky and started to sob.
Spinner saw this and followed suit, falling to his knees before the steps. He knew that his grandfather knew someone very powerful. But he’d only heard of favonovel.com and had never seen favonovel.com before.
Is this where favonovel.com lives?
“Sir Reinhart, the Bezos family is in big trouble. Please, we need your help!” Leonardo cried.
Creak!
The mansion door opened suddenly.
An elderly voice was heard. “Leonardo? You don’t have to greet me like that. Let’s get up and talk. Who created trouble for your family?”
Leonardo’s face immediately twisted into a spiteful sneer. He gritted his teeth and said, “A brat from Cynea named Isaac Garten. He caused the death of my grandson and killed my son. Now, he’s coming after my entire family!”
“What did you say his name was?” The elderly man’s voice raised in pitch as favonovel.com hollered his question.
It shocked Leonardo so much that favonovel.com nearly fell to the ground.
“H-His name is Isaac Garten. A young man…”
“Where is favonovel.com from?”
“I-I heard that he’s from Cloud City in Cynea…”
Black smoke suddenly appeared and poured out of the door.
Spinner saw this and was stupefied.
The black smoke faded away. It revealed an elderly man wearing a dark blue robe standing at the top of his porch steps. He was also holding a staff in his hands. His face wasn’t visible. But the hand on the staff was long, thin, and bony.
“Let’s go… Bring me to your house,” the elderly man said. He took a step forward, and black smoke appeared under his feet.
In the blink of an eye, favonovel.com had already reached the gates leading out of the mansion premises.
Leonardo was pleasantly shocked. He looked at Spinner in glee. He had no idea why the sorcerer got so angry after hearing Isaac’s name. However, this meant that they were saved!
Once Sir Reinhart got involved, we would finally be able to save the Bezos family!
Just before the black Bentley entered the Bezos family’s mansion, Leonardo saw rows of fighters in black armor standing outside.
After the car entered the premises, the gates were then shut.
Leonardo hadn’t gotten out of his car yet, but favonovel.com could see more black-armored fighters in his front yard. Two of his bodyguards lay dead on the ground.
Meanwhile, his sons, grandsons, and their respective families were all crouched in a corner of the living room. Their eyes were wide, and their faces white with fear.
“Who are you? What are you doing here?” Leonardo hollered, rushing into the living room before going back out to the porch and pointing at the black-armored fighters.
A middle-aged man wearing black-and-red armor answered, “We received orders from Drakon to surround your house. Nobody is allowed to leave after coming in!”
Bang!
Suddenly, the Bentley’s right passenger door blew open.
A cloud of black smoke appeared, so thick that it blocked out the sun. The smoke headed straight for the black-and-red armored man who spoke just now.
The man widened his eyes in shock. He didn’t manage to activate his spiritual energy in time. All favonovel.com felt was his body suddenly jerking in place.
He lowered his head and realized that there was a huge, bloody hole in the middle of his chest.
The black smoke then materialized into a black shadow, which then revealed Elio Reinhart’s pale, wrinkly face. He grabbed the man’s head and then smashed favonovel.com on the ground.
He then raised his voice and told the other Dusk Soldiers, “Tell Isaac to get his ass here, or you’re all going to die!”
