“That‘s impossible!” Spinner yelled in shock.
Everyone from the floor started rushing forward. They wanted to catch a glimpse of Isaac’s cards on the table. Those in the back stood on tiptoes to take a peek.
Chance scoffed in disdain.
Isaac revealed his cards.
The first card was a Seven, followed by an Ace and a King. Up until now, the hand value of these cards was 18 points. Everyone waited with bated breaths as Isaac reached for the final card on the table. Even Chance got curious and glanced at the card.
Whoosh!
The final card was finally revealed. It was a Three!
That meant Isaac’s hand value was also 21 points!
What the f*ck?
“The Ace of Spades and the King of Hearts! This hand value is better than the other one!” someone behind Isaac exclaimed in surprise.
Spinner stared at the cards in disbelief. The cards were all laid on the table for all to see.
“H-How is that even possible?” Spinner staggered backward by a few steps, shaking his head in shock.
“You must have cheated. You cheated! This is impossible!” Chance cried, pointing his finger at Isaac. “You cheater!”
Spinner followed suit and hollered at Isaac, “That’s right, you’re a downright cheater!”
He then turned to address the crowd behind him. “Look, this f*cking bastard just cheated in front of everybody’s eyes! He f*cking cheated! He’s a liar and a cheater!”
Spinner’s voice echoed in the hall. But nobody paid any attention to his accusations.
It would be far more believable if someone accused the Bezos brothers of cheating. However, the crowd refused to believe that Isaac would cheat like that. After all, Spinner was the one who dealt the cards to Isaac.
How was Isaac supposed to cheat?
Serena stepped forward and pointed an accusatory finger at Chance. She yelled, “Aren’t you the god of gambling in Oasis City? How could you not tell if someone cheated during a game? What kind of a god are you? You’re such a great embarrassment!”
“You’re such a sore loser. Now, just get out of our sight!”
Serena’s voice was loud and clear. Everyone in the hall could hear her.
Chance’s face turned as dark as thunder after hearing what favonovel.com had to say.
He suddenly looked at Isaac and gritted through his teeth, “Alright, a bet is a bet. But you have to promise to spare my brother!”
The next second, Chance suddenly turned around and rushed toward the floor-to-ceiling windows on the other side of the hall.
Spinner’s eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. He cried out, “C-Chance! Chance, don’t do it! Our family is coming…”
Crash!
There were lots of loud screams from the women in the hall. They all witnessed Chance crashing through the windows and jumping from the floor. It was almost 40 floors up!
Everyone was shocked beyond their core.
The gambling god of Oasis City had jumped to his death.
Serena didn’t think that favonovel.com words would result in this. All favonovel.com wanted to do was humiliate favonovel.com and get favonovel.com to leave. She never thought of causing a death at favonovel.com own party. Even more importantly, favonovel.com never wanted to cause any trouble for favonovel.com brother-in-law.
Nobody thought that Chance would be so selfish.
“Chance!” Spinner hollered, rushing over toward the windows. He stopped just before the gaping hole in the glass.
There was a gust of wind billowing in through the broken glass. He then fell to the ground on his knees.
Nick was still a little out of it when favonovel.com hurriedly told one of the men in black behind him, “Quick, get everyone to leave. And don’t let any news of this get out!”
“Mr. Garten, the Bezos family will be arriving at any moment now. Let’s get out of here while we still can,” Nick said, walking over to Isaac.
