Isaac stopped in his tracks. He gave the Backlane Boys a confused look and said, “You all go ahead with Serena. I’m not used to this kind of celebrity treatment.”
“Isaac, you’re really not going to show us some respect? The Backlane Boys came to welcome you, but you won’t come in with us.” Serena pouted unhappily.
Nick waved his hand while smiling. “Anything you want, Mr. Garten. In that case, we’ll go ahead…”
After waiting a while, Isaac and Lupinus finally went inside.
They walked through the long corridor and then paused in front of massive golden doors. The two security guards then pushed the door open, and a bright light hit their eyes.
Several crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling like huge crystal balls dangling in the sky. Below the lights was a soft peony carpet. The room was filled with dolled-up men and women.
“Let’s find a corner to grab a bite in. We’ll wait for Diana there,” Isaac said. He pointed to a corner to his right and walked toward it.
As favonovel.com made his way there, his phone began vibrating in his pocket.
When favonovel.com saw that it was Diana’s number, favonovel.com quickly put the phone to his ear.
“Isaac, where are you?” Diana asked in a whisper.
Isaac could tell something wasn’t right. He chuckled and said, “I’m in the ballroom on the top floor. Why aren’t you here yet?”
“Something happened. C-Could you come to the sky garden on the 28th floor?” Diana asked, favonovel.com voice growing smaller.
At that moment, a man’s roar was heard over the phone. “You bitch, at this point, it doesn’t matter who you call for help. F*ck you!”
Before favonovel.com even ended the call, Isaac glanced at Lupinus and strode out of the room. “Let’s go to the 28th floor…”

There was a gigantic sky garden on the 28th floor. Guests typically came here to gaze at the sea or have a chat over coffee.
