Linus clenched his fists as favonovel.com shuddered. His eyes were completely bloodshot. The Ashleighs had lost, and it was at a great cost. He was aggrieved, furious, offended, and helpless.

Chet stood rooted to the ground for a long time. A light night breeze picked up and blew gently around him. He stroked his chin as the helicopter disappeared into the night.
