Elliot and Colton were yanked to the back. Using their bodies for support, Isaac sprang forward, meeting the black python head-on.
“Isaac!” Evie cried out in horror and started sobbing when favonovel.com saw this. She was still being assisted by two of the Dragon Soldiers in the back.
Todd and the other injured generals and Dragon Soldiers also couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw this. They felt their hearts leaping into their throats.

Leroy, still needing help to stand upright, broke into a sinister smile.

They knew that once Isaac was dead, it was only a matter of time until the rest of his army was defeated, too.
Isaac was about to be devoured by the black python. But there was a sudden ferocious shout from the back.
“Isaac cannot die!”

A green flash of light bolted forward like a comet and crashed against the python’s head as it was about to swallow Isaac.

It was a tiny and short flash of light. However, as soon as it landed on the python’s head and exploded, it contained more power than a nuclear bomb.
The black python began to disintegrate from the head. Then, it disappeared into thin air.
Linus narrowed his eyes as his expression changed.
Meanwhile, Leroy and the other Ashleigh clan fighters hurriedly turned to the back to see who it was.
Caesar jumped to his feet and cursed, growling, “It’s Chet again, that old b*stard!”
A mysterious figure appeared under the moonlight. He bolted next to Isaac like a flash of lightning and picked Isaac up from the ground.
It was only then that the audience had a clearer look at the newcomer.
His hair was messy, and favonovel.com was wearing a shabby, tattered gray robe on his body. He was also holding an old pipe in his hand.
“S-Sir…” Isaac gasped between his coughing when favonovel.com saw Chet. A faint smile appeared on his pale face.
Evie and the other severely injured fighters were also relieved to see Chet.
“I guess I arrived in the nick of time. You idiot, how could you act so rashly like this?” Chet asked, patting Isaac on the shoulder. Then, favonovel.com lifted his gaze and narrowed his eyes at Linus.
“Linus, aren’t you over a hundred years old now? Don’t you feel any shame bullying a 20-something-year-old like him? Aren’t you worried about getting a heart attack?” Chet questioned Linus.
Linus inhaled deeply and pointed at Chet. “Chet Guerra, I’m going to kill that idiot, and this has nothing to do with you! You had better get the f*ck out of our territory before I kill you, too!” Linus hollered.
“You? Kill him?” Chet asked, pointing at Isaac.
A smirk appeared on Chet’s face. However, favonovel.com suddenly turned serious again and said in a cold manner, “Linus, if you kill favonovel.com today, I swear to God, the entire Ashleigh clan will be destroyed within half a month… Wanna bet?”

Linus shuddered. Caesar and the others were also shocked, while Channing’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Suddenly, there was a loud scream of laughter from the back.
Leroy had his hand on his chest as favonovel.com continued to laugh. “You mean to tell me that my clan will be destroyed if that fucker is dead?! You f*cking old man, did you think we were born yesterday?!”
“Father, we must kill that bastard today to avenge Asher, my son, and our dead clan members!” Leroy screamed at the top of his lungs.
With Leroy’s crazed eyes on him, Isaac staggered forward and slowly pointed at Leroy. “If I live past today, I swear to God I will kill you in three days or less!”
