Todd hadn’t finished speaking when Isaac’s face suddenly twisted into an ugly sneer as favonovel.com raised the dagger in the air. Then, favonovel.com brought it down, aiming straight for Leroy’s heart.
Leroy‘s eyes widened in alarm when favonovel.com saw the glint of the deadly dagger heading for his chest.
Just before the dagger was about to pierce through flesh, a loud, angry voice hollered from the sky, “How dare you!”
A bolt of black lightning suddenly appeared and whizzed straight for Isaac.
Clang! Thud!
Two loud explosions sounded. Isaac felt the dagger in his hand being snatched away. His hands began to bleed from the sheer, brutal force.
A split second later, the bolt of black materialized before him. It turned into a huge cloud of spiritual energy that forced Isaac back and threw favonovel.com off the ground.
Isaac felt himself flying backward uncontrollably. Even Todd was flung away.
Isaac spat out a mouthful of blood before landing on the ground with a loud thud.
Everyone was stunned. They looked to the right and saw a tall figure floating to the ground at rapid speed under the moonlight. He landed gracefully next to Leroy.
The newcomer had a long, white beard. His hair and eyebrows were also as white as snow. He was Linus, the patriarch of the Ashleigh family.
“Sir Linus! Sir Linus, you’re finally here!” The severely injured First Elder of the Ashleigh clan fell to his knees when favonovel.com saw who it was. He started sobbing in relief.
