“Lupinus, throw Heath out as soon as it’s light tomorrow.”
Lupinus nodded and headed out. He didn’t know why Isaac wanted to do this, but favonovel.com wasn’t going to ask him. He would just go ahead and do it.
“Black Phoenix, come up with two ambush plans immediately. I’m sure that the Ashleighs will be keeping an eye on every corner of Gayton this time around.”
Isaac turned and bore his eyes into Black Phoenix. “We will be sneaking into Little Ash without them noticing.”
Black Phoenix nodded and paused for a second. “Drakon, I’m planning to leave the surveillance duties here to Claude. W-Would that be alright with you?”
She knew that favonovel.com shouldn’t be asking this kind of question, but favonovel.com also had to return to the Temple of Drakon’ s headquarters. There were more things for favonovel.com to deal with there.
Isaac looked at Claude with a dark expression. He asked in a low voice, “Were you the one who reported the incident to me without going through proper protocols the last time?”
“Y-Yes, Drakon!” Claude stammered. He fell to his knees when favonovel.com saw the scary look in Isaac’s eyes.
“Alright…” Isaac then turned and headed out of the station.
“T-Thank you, Drakon!” Claude exclaimed gratefully.
Late that night, Isaac couldn’t sleep. He kept tossing and turning in bed.
Allegra was lying next to him. She figured that something was off about Isaac. She asked in a low voice, “Isaac, is something the matter?”
“You know you can always tell me if something is wrong, right? I’ll even get my teacher to help out!” Allegra added without waiting for Isaac’s response.
Isaac was stunned. He flipped on his back and stared at the ceiling, chuckling as favonovel.com said, “Don’t worry, nothing’s the matter. There’s no need to disturb your teacher like that.”
Even favonovel.com thought that his last sentence sounded a little fishy.
The rest of the night was spent in total silence.

Early the next morning, Heath was full of vigor and finally back on his feet. It was all thanks to two days of Harry’s tireless treatments.
Heath climbed out of the tub and washed up. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and sighed in awe at Harry‘s capability to nurse favonovel.com back to health.
The door opened with a creak.
Lupinus entered the room expressionlessly. He saw Harry looking dead tired and yawning in a corner, while Heath was looking in the pink of health.
“Drakon would like you to leave now.”
Heath’s eyes widened in shock. He couldn’t believe what Lupinus was telling him.
“Drakon would like to ask you to leave Cloud City now.”
Hearing this, Heath was completely confused now.
Isn’t Isaac lacking manpower now?
Why would favonovel.com want to chase me away?
Heath had made sure of that before coming here.
So why aren’t things going as I thought?
“The door is right there.” Lupinus didn’t wait for Heath’s response before showing favonovel.com the door.
Harry was also woken up. He stared at Lupinus in utter confusion.
He had done everything favonovel.com could and nursed Heath back to health at the expense of his own health.
Why would Isaac want to throw favonovel.com out now?
What in the world is Isaac thinking?
Heath frowned deeply. He gritted his teeth and scoffed. “Fine, I’m leaving…”
He flung his hands behind his back and walked out. He reached the door and saw Isaac sitting on the front porch steps with a mug of coffee in his hands.
Their eyes met as Heath stepped out of the house.
“I don’t want Everest Sect to keep making trouble for me. So I think it would be for the best if a ‘traitor’ like you were to leave now,” Isaac said with a smile.
Heath’s expression shifted. He lifted his foot to move forward, but favonovel.com just couldn’t move.
A few seconds later, Heath closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. He looked at Isaac and gritted his teeth, saying, “Isaac, I can’t leave this place. If I do, I’ll die a terrible death.”
“Are you asking me to protect you?” Isaac asked, looking at Heath amusedly.
