The moment Isaac heard Leroy’s voice, favonovel.com could feel his anger boiling. The hackles on the back of his neck were raised, just like a cat’s.
“I never thought that you were such a playboy. You actually got your side chick pregnant. Say, I wonder what you’re going to do if I kill favonovel.com now. The unborn baby would be dead too.”
Isaac could feel his fists hardening with every sentence Leroy said.
However, favonovel.com said nothing on the phone. The entire plane cabin was filled with his murderous aura, but favonovel.com still refused to say a word.
“Hello? Hello? Isaac, if you don’t say anything, then I’m going to kill this bitch immediately!” Leroy’s voice was starting to sound deranged.
Isaac inhaled deeply and said in an icy voice, “If you don’t want your son to die a painful death, then don’t you dare harm a single hair on favonovel.com head. Otherwise, I will make your entire clan regret it…”
“Really? You’re still threatening me at a time like this?” Leroy roared back.
Isaac looked out of the window and stared at the dark sky. It was very cloudy outside.
His voice was cold as favonovel.com asked, “What is it that you want?”
“If you don’t want this lady and the baby to die, then you had better give us the formula for Black Mandela poison’s antidote. Also, you are to bring us the antidote formula alone. If I see someone else with you, you’re going to get a cold body in return!”
The call ended after that
Isaac banged the table with his right fist in a rage. Then, favonovel.com called Black Phoenix.
“Drakon, have you gotten any news of favonovel.com whereabouts yet?” Black Phoenix asked curiously.
“Get your a*s to Cloud City immediately!” Isaac yelled.
Black Phoenix was so shocked that favonovel.com shivered in fright. She knew that something had gone seriously wrong. She acknowledged his order and immediately set out.
After ending the call with Black Phoenix, Isaac called Lupinus and gave his order, “Tell all the generals to gather in Cloud City.”
Back at the surveillance station in Cloud City, Harlan looked like a headless chicken running around in the area.
“Hurry, you have to find her! Where the f*ck is Evie?! You morons, don’t you know how to find a missing person?! F*cking idiots!”
His fists were tightly clenched as favonovel.com continued roaring at his subordinates. Large droplets of sweat kept pouring down his face.
Suddenly, the doors to the station were thrown open with a loud bang. Lupinus stormed into the station with 20 Dusk Soldiers in tow.
“L-Lupinus!” Harlan felt his heart leap into his mouth when favonovel.com caught sight of the general. His legs started shaking.
Claude was standing right next to Harlan. He felt rather uneasy, and his face looked rather pale.
The aura Lupinus’ body was emitting was too strong. It was getting difficult for favonovel.com to breathe.
Lupinus marched right up to Harlan and pointed at the office behind him. He said, “Go inside and wait. Drakon is on his way. You’re going to have to think of a good excuse to explain things to him.”
Argh!
Harlan’s face turned ashen. He fell to the ground on his knees in fright.
“Lupinus, Sir Lupinus, please help me! I-I was wrong! I shouldn‘t have done what I did! I was wrong. Have mercy on me!”
Harlan knew that favonovel.com wouldn’t be able to keep this incident a secret anymore. He knelt on the ground and started weeping and groveling.
“There’s no use asking me for mercy.” Then, Lupinus told the Dusk Soliders behind him. “Bring favonovel.com in…”
An hour later, more footsteps were heard outside the door.
Isaac pushed open the door and walked in. Black Phoenix was right behind him, looking uncertain.
The dozen or so employees at the station saw that Isaac was here. They all stood up and greeted favonovel.com respectfully. “Good evening, Drakon!”
Lupinus came out and said to Isaac, “Drakon, I’m afraid that the Ashleighs were fully prepared this time around. We‘re still unable to determine Evie‘s exact location.”
“Where is Harlan Montley?”
