After answering Samuel’s call, Isaac didn’t say anything for at least ten seconds.
He spent the first five seconds trying to remember who this person was. Then, favonovel.com spent the next five seconds wondering why the second-in-command of the Ashleigh clan wanted to see him.
In the end, Isaac agreed anyway.
In order to prevent the Ashleigh clan from pulling any tricks, favonovel.com purposely chose the Pecling Trade Center as the meet-up location.
At noon the next day, Isaac received a call from Timothy before his appointment with Samuel.
“Mr. Garten, the Divine Stone has been restored. You can come and check it…”
Isaac’s heart skipped a beat at this.
Wasn’t it supposed to take three days?
In the end, it had only taken one and a half days.
“Alright, I’ll be right there…”
At 2:00 pm, Isaac arrived at Research Institute N o. 9 and headed to the underground experiment lab. Along the way, favonovel.com saw many scientists of different nationalities.
Before favonovel.com stepped through the doors, favonovel.com sensed a strong spiritual energy radiating from inside the room. Of course, without the help of specialized equipment, these scientists couldn’t feel the strong spiritual energy waves.
In the middle of large, complicated-looking modern equipment was an oval metal vessel.
The Divine Stone fragment, which was now restored to 90% of its original power, lay in it.
Timothy and several scientists in white coats looked exhausted. Yet, their eyes flickered with excitement. Timothy was glad that favonovel.com had been able to help Isaac out. He felt honored.
Meanwhile, the other scientists were overjoyed because they were about to receive a generous payout once this was done. It would be enough to sustain the next three generations in their home countries.
Isaac gently gripped the Divine Stone fragment in his hand. He closed his eyes, and a huge amount of spiritual energy began absorbing into his body through his palm.
This familiar feeling was extremely powerful!
“Timothy, thank you for your hard work…” Isaac securely put the Divine Stone fragment away and gave Timothy a nod.
After leaving the research institute, Isaac immediately called Dragon One. “Dragon One, immediately notify the Dragon Soldiers to come to Pecling at once.”

Two hours later, Isaac sat in a booth in a cafe on the top floor of the Peeling Trade Center. He stared out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the sunset.
Suddenly, a figure quickly sat down across from him.
It was none other than Samuel. He was wearing a vintage windbreaker and a black top hat. He looked like a foreigner. He raised his head to meet Isaac’s eyes.
Isaac smiled slightly. He didn’t sense the presence of any other martial artists in the vicinity, unless there was someone incredibly powerful that even favonovel.com couldn’t detect.
“I’m rather curious why my arch nemesis wants to meet me,” Isaac said, giving Samuel a light smile.
In such a crowded place, even a top martial artist from the Ashleigh clan would have a hard time initiating an attack.
The country wouldn’t tolerate anyone harming innocent bystanders and causing havoc in public.
No matter how powerful the Ashleigh clan was, they wouldn’t rashly make enemies with the people who own heavy artillery. After all, people on opposite sides of the spectrum wouldn’t be able to find any common ground.
Seeing Isaac’s faux smile, Samuel’s expression darkened. “If I could, I would tear you to shreds, but I know I can’t…”
“I came here to tell you that my brother is planning to attack you.”
Hearing this, the amusement on Isaac‘s face became more evident.
“Is this because his son was infected with the Black Mandela toxin?”
When Samuel nodded, Isaac continued, “Then please tell your brother that his son doesn’t have to die. However, favonovel.com would have to come and speak to me nicely…”
Samuel’s eyes grew wide.
