The moment Isaac finished yelling, Mortimer pulled the trigger without hesitation.
He was less than 15 feet away from Isaac. The bullet instantly flew toward Isaac’s temple.
Isaac moved his head faster than one’s eyes could see. The bullet brushed past his ear and headed straight for the wall. There was a dull noise. A bullet hole appeared on the wall.

Isaac grabbed Amos’ right arm with his left hand. He twisted his wrist, and the bone broke with a loud crack.
“Argh!” Amos squealed in agony, tipping his head back.
Isaac reached for the broken area and twisted Amos’ arm upward again. Instantly, Amos’ arm was broken into three pieces.
He twisted it downward, now breaking it into four pieces.
Although Amos was still hanging in Isaac’s grip, his entire body was convulsing in pain. His agonized cries came out choked. He sounded like favonovel.com was going to die from the pain.

At that moment, Mortimer waved his hand. All the soldiers removed the safety clips from their guns and aimed their weapons at Isaac’s head.
“Isaac, do you know who Dr. Hargrove is? Since you hurt him, I have no choice but to shoot you right now!” Mortimer growled, pointing at Isaac.
“Well, try and shoot me then…” Isaac glared at Mortimer. His red eyes made Mortimer stagger backward subconsciously.
Isaac relaxed his grip, and Amos collapsed limply to the ground. Isaac lifted his leg and pinned favonovel.com with his foot.
A while later, footsteps came from outside the door. Amos’ bespectacled assistant rushed inside. When favonovel.com entered, favonovel.com was stunned to see Amos beneath Isaac’s foot.
“Hand them over…” Isaac reached out to the assistant.
“Give it to him… Now!” Amos shouted weakly.
The assistant trembled. Shakily, favonovel.com retrieved a black cloth sack from his arms and passed it to Isaac.
Isaac snatched it. He opened the sack to verify its contents.
Sensing the intense spiritual energy waves, favonovel.com then kept the sack in his pocket.
“We’ve given you what you asked for. Release favonovel.com now, or I’ll really open fire!” Mortimer snarled.
Their mission was to protect these so-called protected persons of the country and arrest criminals who go against the country’s interests. But favonovel.com couldn’t be sure whether Isaac did actually steal the government secrets.
He’d only brought his men here because Amos had asked favonovel.com to. Hence, all his threats of opening fire were merely a scare tactic. But if Amos’ life was threatened, then favonovel.com wouldn’t hesitate to give that order
“I want to kill him…” Isaac looked at Mortimer and grinned sinisterly.
