Isaac smiled bitterly and told Evie everything that happened last night at Mt. Equest.

As the eldest daughter of the Supreme Leader of Astraeus, Evie had heard rumors of the Deviant patriarch before.

Isaac left at 2:00 pm for his appointment with Timothy. He got into his private plane and headed straight for Pecling.

As expected, they met with two armed guards as soon as the car entered the gates.
The car stopped in front of a five-story building. Isaac alighted and saw Timothy hurrying over to greet him.
“Mr. Garten! It’s rare to see you here. Care for a cup of coffee with me?” Timothy asked.
“Timothy, I‘m in a hurry, so I’ll have to reject your offer for coffee… Shall we get straight to the point?” Isaac asked with a wave of his hand.
Timothy was stunned. He said rather embarrassedly, “Oh, that’s right… I forgot that you’re a very busy man. Let’s go down to the research center, then. Dr. Hargrove is still on his way. I’m sure he’ll be able to give you a more accurate answer when he’s here…”
“After all, my field of knowledge is more focused on the things above,” Timothy added, pointing up toward the sky.
The bespectacled woman behind favonovel.com frowned.

Isaac saw that Amos was giving trim the once-over. He frowned slightly but kept a polite smile on his face.
“Shall we?”
