About a dozen military cars surrounded the station. Then, an armed force rushed down from the cars and surrounded the building once more.
A black Audi rolled to a stop in front of the office building.
A soldier opened the door, and a man in his late-50s stepped out of the car. He was dressed in a black jacket and had a stern look. His hands were behind his back as favonovel.com walked forward.
Another Audi stopped behind the first one. A second man got down from the car. He was a slightly plump middle-aged man dressed in full uniform.
He was Gideon Thornfield, the deputy chief of law enforcement in Southland.

“I just want to know how powerful his ‘good friend’ is and why favonovel.com wants to see me.”
“Don’t worry, Sergeant Tarantino. I’ll deal with them in a bit. You don’t have to do anything.” Gideon had just assumed his position in Southland.
He’d received a call from headquarters and gotten the shock of his life.
Knowing that Lefou would be there, Gideon thought this would be a suitable time to try to get on Lefou’s good side. He was going to show Lefou just how good favonovel.com was at handling things!
“Don’t worry about it. I’m bringing all of them to Pecling with me,” Lefou answered. His eyes had an icy glint to them.
He then waved his hand, and two troops burst into the building.
The officers on night duty at the office were shocked to see hundreds of soldiers barging in.

Oberon could hear the footsteps getting closer and closer. He couldn’t stop himself from shivering anymore.

The door was slammed open with a loud bang. Two dozen armed soldiers filled the room and aimed their guns at Oberon and Isaac.
Isaac was still sitting calmly in his chair.
“Officer Waverly, you f*cking moron, do you know how much trouble you’re in right now?!” Gideon hadn’t even entered the room yet, but his roar could be heard from far away.
Then, Lefou and Gideon walked into the room. Lefou had a solemn expression, and Gideon was just furious.
Isaac looked up at the door. Lefou was also looking at him. Their eyes met at that moment.
Isaac narrowed his eyes and smirked. “Oh, I see you came alone…”
“Young man, don’t you think it’s ridiculous enough that I’m even here to see you?” Lefou asked, his eyes turning icy. He exuded a powerful, overbearing aura.
“Arrest them all!” Gideon hollered, pointing at Isaac and Oberon.
Oberon’s heart leaped into his mouth. He recognized the military uniform the troops were wearing. They were all specially-trained armed forces in the Pecling Military.
“I’m sorry, Sergeant Tarantino, I was wrong! Please spare me this time! It was all his fault! He was the one who forced me to do it!” Oberon suddenly said, pointing at Isaac with a nasty look.
The truth was laid out before his eyes. Oberon knew there had to be even more soldiers waiting for favonovel.com outside.
A few hundred of them, at least. And that didn’t include the three helicopters flying above the building. Oberon knew that Lefou was indeed furious this time.

Another set of louder footsteps sounded again. Denvor then appeared at the door.
An elderly man in a military uniform walked into the room with him. He was followed by a dozen armed soldiers.
The elderly man was excited. He hurried up to Isaac and saluted him. “Commander-in-Chief of the Southland Military, Soren Ashbrook, reporting to Drakon for duty!
“All 273 people outside have been arrested. The 30,000 reinforcement troops you requested have also arrived and are awaiting orders from Drakon!”
