Oberon drove Isaac and Denvor to the morgue at the law enforcement center.

Isaac stood by the side as Denvor walked over to the body and uncovered it. Then, favonovel.com started examining the corpse.

Oberon shook his head immediately. “No… He’s from Lorch City. He’s a northerner.”

“Isaac, if I’m not wrong, someone must have cast a spell on him. It must be the corpse manipulation spell from a mystic sect,” Denvor said seriously.
“A mystic sect?” Isaac asked in confusion.
Denvor nodded and said, “It’s a branch of Boddhism. Most of the practitioners gather around the northwest areas in the country.”
“Let’s go, then!” Isaac said with a cold chuckle. He turned and headed out.
First, someone with many connections ordered the transfer of the “master of telekinesis” from Cloud City to Pecling. Next, someone who knew the corpse manipulation spell orchestrated the car crash that involved Diana.
Isaac never thought a scam company would have so many hidden “talents”.
The three of them exited the building and got into the car. They were going back to the hospital.
They were on the road for a few minutes when suddenly, two piercing headlights appeared in the opposite lane.
It was a cargo truck. The truck suddenly swerved into their lane from the opposite and accelerated toward the officer car that Isaac, Denvor, and Oberon were in.
“Watch out!” Isaac yelled as a burst of spiritual energy exploded from him. He was ready to rush out of the car if necessary.
But Oberon grabbed the steering wheel and swerved all the way to the right. There was a loud crash. The car then shook and swayed wildly from the impact.
The cargo truck had rammed into the end of their car. It then lost control and headed straight for the grassy banks.
It destroyed two street lamps in the way before finally rolling to a stop.
