The elders began to run at a supersonic pace. They split up in different directions, fleeing like hurricanes. But the shadow fist falling from the sky was even faster. Two fingers from the shadow fist crashed onto two elders.
“Argh!” they both cried out, collapsing to the ground. They coughed up a mouthful of blood and stopped moving.
Ambrose and Irving looked over their shoulders. The two fallen elders were from the Jensen family and the Stoner family.
They were enraged. But after seeing the five-foot-deep crater left by the shadow fist, they looked at each other.
“We have to leave!” they roared.
The remaining elders continued to flee.
Seeing this, Channing yelled, “Go after them! Don’t let a single one of them get away!”
A huge swarm of fighters began to pursue them.
A few seconds later, a figure stood on the roof of a damaged building. He was wearing a pale purple cloak that was whipping in the wind.
The old man surveyed the blaze with a narrowed gaze. Hearing the endless cries and seeing people run around while on fire, his eyebrows knitted together.
He slowly descended next to Channing.
Several fighters had carried over the two dead elders.

The patriarch roared, “You fools, you’re all useless!”

One of the hills before them was suddenly lit with a blinding light. A helicopter was parked there.
When Isaac and Todd approached it, the helicopter roared to life. Its blades began to whirr.
“Quickly, to the airport!”
Todd finally understood why Isaac had abandoned the previous helicopter. There was a backup here. As the vehicle rose, Todd suddenly realized that the man beside favonovel.com was indeed terrifying.
