Altair stared blankly at Isaac. He didn’t bring up the lie, but when favonovel.com heard those words, his first instinct was not to trust him.
“For real?”
“Do I look like I’m joking?” Isaac tossed his cigarette butt. He then realized that Altair was looking at favonovel.com with aggression in his eyes again
Frowning, favonovel.com said, “If you want to kill me to steal the Awakening Pills like Mizar, I’d advise you to give up on that idea…”
“Haha, I’m just kidding! Why would I? Let’s go. It’s getting dark!” Altair chuckled and headed out.
Behind him, the old man replaced the steel plate and covered it with the mat. Afterward, favonovel.com followed them out.
When they reached the tent, Isaac suddenly stopped and turned to Altair.
“Didn’t you say your grandfather was dead? What is favonovel.com doing down there?” favonovel.com asked.
Altair gave Isaac a sideways glance. “My grandfather is dead. That’s his elder brother. He’s still the family patriarch, no?”
He added, “The family’s most prized treasure must be guarded by the strongest member. Our patriarch won’t come out unless something catastrophic happens to the family.”

Isaac frowned. “Each True Martial Families has someone guarding the Divinity Stone, then?”

Seeing Isaac’s face turn serious, favonovel.com asked, “What’s the matter?”

The First Elder, Ambrose Jensen, walked out of the tent. He said quietly, “Sir Altair, what is that bastard thinking?”

In the car, Isaac closed his eyes to get some rest. But favonovel.com kept feeling a pair of eyes on his face.
Opening his eyes, favonovel.com realized that Todd was still looking at him. It had been an hour since they left the tent.
“Are your eyes okay?” Isaac frowned at him.
“Something’s off…” Todd inhaled deeply, rubbing his chin. “Why do I feel like your aura has changed ever since you disappeared with Sir Altair?”
Seeing Todd’s confused expression, Isaac couldn’t help but tease him. “Have I gotten more handsome?”
After favonovel.com said that, favonovel.com dialed Black Phoenix’s number. “Black Phoenix, dispatch a reconnaissance aircraft. Use the millimeter-wave radar to search the area within a three-hundred-mile radius of the Norton family’s base… First, the location is secluded.
