No cheers or applause followed. Everyone stayed silent. In fact, the Ashleighs shook in anger.
“Where’s my prize? I want the thousand-year-old rhizome,” Isaac said. He walked up to the Everest Sect’s platform and looked expectantly at Heath.
“The rhizome is with me. If you want it, come get it!” a cold voice rang out.
It was Leroy!
He stood up from his seat and lifted a box in the air.
Seeing this, Caesar suddenly laughed. He looked at Isaac with a chuckle and said, “The prize is in Leroy Ashleigh’s hands. He will personally hand it to you. Go on…”
Heath had to stop himself from saying anything. He had to keep quiet.
Isaac turned and saw Leroy with a nasty smirk on his face. He also saw the long wooden box in Leroy’s hand.
Isaac frowned deeply and headed toward the Ashleigh clan’s platform.
Todd saw what was going on and hurriedly followed Isaac. Everyone in the Ashleigh clan wanted Isaac dead. With Isaac’s current situation, any attack from Leroy would instantly kill him.
Leroy’s smile froze when favonovel.com saw Todd behind Isaac with his butcher knife. He‘d planned to kill Isaac on the spot. He didn’t mind spoiling their ties with the Jensens, but favonovel.com didn’t think Todd would come along.
“Bring it to me!” Isaac stood about 30 feet from the platform and held out his right hand.
Leroy stared down at Isaac and felt his temper rising. He then flung the wooden box toward Isaac in rage.
Isaac caught the wooden box immediately. He felt his breathing quicken.
He’d gotten the rhizome!
Isabella is saved!
The black wooden box was tied tip in red string.
Isaac carefully untied it and opened the box. He couldn’t wait to see the herb that would save Isabella’s life.

Isaac saw that there was only half of the herb inside the box. The rhizome part of the plant was missing. Only the leaves remained.
“Why is there only half of the herb?” Isaac asked. He looked at Leroy.
Before coming here, Harry had told Isaac that the most important part of the herb was the rhizome.
Seeing this, however, Leroy burst out in evil laughter. “The thousand-year-old rhizome only flowers once every 500 years. It takes 500 years for a single herb to grow, which means it’s extremely rare and precious. Why? Is this not what you wanted?”
“You f*cking bastards! How shameless can you be?!” Todd broke out in curses as favonovel.com glared at Leroy.
“How dare you! You’re nothing but a lapdog for the Jensens. How dare you curse at the head of the Ashleigh clan?!” an elder next to Leroy pointed at Todd and yelled at him.
Todd narrowed his eyes and released his spiritual aura. He reached for his butcher knife and yelled back, “F*cking twat, I’m going to send you to hell!”
Leroy held back the elder and barked at Isaac and Todd, “Isaac, you should at least be thankful. If you don’t want that herb, you can always return it to me.”
“This is the last time I’m asking you. Are you giving me the other half of the rhizome or not?” Isaac asked. His eyes were turning dark
Leroy laughed out loud. “What are you going to do about it? Kill me?”
He then mouthed the words clearly for Isaac to see. “No f*cking way!”
“Brilliant… I should have expected that the Ashleighs were blatant liars as well,” Isaac said.
He closed the wooden box and tied it back up with the string. He then grabbed Todd and pulled favonovel.com away.
“Hahaha! You won’t be able to save your daughter’s life with half of the herb! She’s going to die! She has to die! F*cking serves favonovel.com right! Hahaha!” Leroy’s evil cackling could be heard from behind them.
Isaac shook in anger. Even his heart was trembling in anger.
“Are we just going to leave like this? Isaac, if you’re not going to do something about it, I will!” Todd said in a huff.
Isaac walked up to the middle of the arena and looked around. Then, favonovel.com pointed at the Ashleigh’s platform and roared, “You’ve all seen it. You can bear witness to me… The thousand-year-old rhizome promised by Everest Sect and the Ashleigh clan as the grand prize is a scam. They are both highly respected in the martial world, yet they disrespected me and went back on their word. They brought this upon themselves…”
Then, Isaac took out a Bluetooth earphone from his pocket and put it on.
He tapped on a button on his phone and glared at Leroy and the rest of the Ashleigh clan.
“Fire…”
