Todd continued beating Asher up. He roared in answer, “He hasn’t surrendered yet, so the winner isn’t confirmed. And I’m not going to stop until then!”
“Hurry up and surrender, Asher!” Leroy would rush out and beat Todd ifhe could, but favonovel.com could feel Altair’s eyes on him. So, favonovel.com could only yell and remind Asher to surrender.
“I… I-I surrender!” Asher cried, begging for mercy. He kept spitting out mouthfuls of blood.
There was a clear difference in power between the phases, even between the stages of the same phase. Of course, Isaac’s case was a different thing altogether. Nonetheless, defeating Asher was like a piece of cake for Todd.
Heath started yelling at Todd to stop. It was only then that Todd slowly stood tip. He then brushed the dust off his shoulders and backed away.
Asher had been pummeled into a pulp. He was quickly brought back from the arena by the Ashleigh clan members.
Caesar’s face was blacker than thunder. He’d heard before that a powerful fighter had appeared alongside Isaac. It turned out the Jensens had sent this powerful fighter to protect him. He was extremely skilled and powerful indeed.
Even Caesar and the other heads of the clans were only mid-stage Celestial Phase fighters. They each had their own signature attacks. But they would not simply use them against anyone.
The Ashleighs and the Nortons were mad.
Heath looked at the fuming Caesar and asked hesitatingly, “S-Sir, now…”
“Isn’t there one more clan left? The Stoners?” Caesar declared coldly.
Heath nodded and announced, “The winner for the third round is Todd Granite from the Jensen family. The next battle will be between Todd Granite and Casey Montgomery, from the Stoner family!”
The names of the participants were submitted by the head of the respective clans. They would only send out one representative every year, and the winning prize was grand.
It had always started and ended on an amicable note. Something like this just hadn’t happened ever before.
“The Stoners will forfeit the fight,” the elder in a white robe said.
Hearing this, Heath was stunned.
What did this mean?
Did that mean the only fighters left were Isaac and Todd?
“Bastard! The Ashleighs want a re-match! We’ve got plenty of people who still want to fight!” Asher yelled from his stretcher.
Heath saw that Caesar remained silent. So, Heath announced, “The final battle today will be between Isaac, from the Temple of Drakon, and Todd Granite, from the Jensen family!”
Isaac opened his eyes when favonovel.com heard his name. He had recovered about a third of his power, but his injuries were still quite bad. He gritted his teeth and stood up. Then, favonovel.com walked over before Todd.
Everyone fixed their eyes on the two of them.
“Are we going to fight for real?” Isaac asked. He wiped off some blood from the corner of his mouth.
“Of course! Here, you can start first,” Todd said with a firm nod.
Isaac frowned. The audience watched with bated breath.
This was going to be the battle of the century!
Isaac exhaled slowly. He thought Todd would forfeit or at least admit his defeat.
What is going on in Todd’s mind?
“Ten Ton Fist!” Isaac growled. He then shot a shadow fist at Todd from 30 feet away.
Boom!
Todd stood in his place without moving. Isaac’s shadow fist struck favonovel.com on the chest.
“Ouch!” Todd cried out in pain. He was thrown back by at least ten feet.
He quickly got back up on his feet and nursed his stomach. “Wait, hold on! I can’t defeat Isaac. I’m going to surrender!”
Sh*t! What the f*ck?!
Everyone could feel their jaws dropping in shock.
Is this even possible?
Heath frowned and glanced at the furious Leroy. He then quickly looked at Caesar.
Caesar waved his hand and said, “Announce the winner…”
He didn’t want to continue watching anymore.
