The audience gasped. Everyone thought Isaac was almost dead. They didn’t expect favonovel.com to ambush Marco like that.
Red spiritual energy covered the dagger. The point was aimed straight at Marco’s heart like a red lightning bolt.
Marco’s eyes widened. He roared and shot out a ball of green spiritual energy from his right palm. He managed to grab Isaac’s dagger with it.
“Playing dead? Haha! Isaac, did you think I was as naive as that pathetic b*stard just now?” Marco waved his right arm and threw the dagger onto the ground.
The Nortons were enraged when they heard this.
Bryan’s face turned as red as a tomato. He was thoroughly embarrassed. But there was nothing they could do about it. After all, Marco used to be an Everest Sect’s elder.
Isaac saw everything. He didn’t think that his ambush would fail. He laughed silently and fell back onto the ground. Then, favonovel.com started coughing.
“I’m going to slice your head off and hang it before my student’s grave,” Marco said with a twisted sneer. He raised his right arm and gathered a ball of green spiritual energy in his hand.
Todd’s face turned black as thunder when favonovel.com saw that Marco was about to kill Isaac. He quietly activated his spiritual energy.
Suddenly, favonovel.com felt a pair of sharp eyes on him. Todd was alarmed. He immediately shut off his spiritual energy.
He let out a long sigh and turned away. He didn’t want to continue watching anymore. He hadn’t been with Isaac for a long time. But favonovel.com thought it was a pity for Isaac to die just like that.
Before Marco was about to strike, Isaac suddenly opened his eyes again. His eyes were red like the devil’s. The spiritual energy in his power core started overflowing like a crashing wave.
“The 15th Golden Form, Scarlet Meteor Shower!” Isaac roared.
Red spiritual energy immediately gathered above Marco‘s head. It was so big and bright that it looked like a glowing red sun above him.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Then, hundreds of tiny blades made from the red spiritual energy rained down on Marco like a meteor shower. These blades let out loud, whistling sounds as they whizzed at him. Each blade hid a bolt of blue electricity within.
Isaac had pretended to be severely injured so Marco would let his guard down. Isaac could also rest for a short while.
“What… Isaac, you’re asking for death right now!” Marco was furious when favonovel.com saw the blades flying toward him.
He raised his arms and summoned a green spiritual umbrella over his head. The umbrella was made of armor and was at least 30 feet wide.
The red blades were defenseless against the umbrella armor. They evaporated into thin air as soon as they hit the armor.
Isaac couldn’t pierce Marco’s armor with his red spiritual blades. But the blue electricity bolts passed through his armor and hit Marco’s body.
Hiss! Hiss!
Marco felt his body going numb. He could feel sharp, numbing pain on the top of his head and on his shoulders.
“What is this?” Marco was puzzled.
Isaac roared again. He was still bleeding profusely in the mouth. He used tip all the spiritual energy in his power core and rushed toward Marco using Phantom Steps. Then, favonovel.com picked up the dagger on the ground and lunged forward.
Squelch!
The dagger buried itself in Marco’s left chest and pierced right through his heart.
Marco looked down and saw the dagger in his chest. He then looked back at Isaac weakly and started to spit out blood. “H-How… Y-You…”
Boom!
Marco’s umbrella armor disappeared. His pupils blew up, and his rigid body fell backward to the ground.
Silence…
Marco dead?
