Todd suddenly raised his knife and pointed it at Isaac.
“Don’t force me to do this,” favonovel.com said. His face looked fierce.
They stared at each other for a long time.
Isaac took out a cigarette and lit it up. He looked back at Todd and said, “I’m only going to ask you one question. If you were in my shoes, and your child was about to die soon, would you go or not?”
Todd frowned deeply. He was silent for a few seconds before answering with difficulty, “I have no children.”
“But you have parents, don’t you? What if it were your parents instead?” Isaac asked.
He puffed out smoke and said, “Todd, I know you’re in a dilemma. But if you stop me, my daughter will die. And if my daughter dies, I will seek revenge… I won‘t kill you because you’ve saved my life before. But I will hunt down every person behind you and wipe them off the earth. All of them, one by one.”
Todd could feel himself shuddering. He hadn’t been with Isaac for a long time, but favonovel.com knew that Isaac never joked around when it came to matters like these.
“Let me go. Even if I die, my family and friends will only thank you,” Isaac said.
He threw away the rest of his cigarette and pushed Todd’s butcher knife away. Then, favonovel.com continued toward his car.
Todd stared at Isaac’s back for a while. Then, favonovel.com stomped and exclaimed, “F*ck, whatever! I might as well kick some balls with you before we both get killed!”
With that, Todd hopped into the passenger seat of Isaac’s car.
Isaac turned to look at him. He chuckled as favonovel.com turned on the engine. “You’re very strong and powerful. They won’t be able to kill you that easily…”
“You don’t know sh*t!” Todd replied with a scowl. He then turned to look at the scenery outside.
The car slowly rolled out of Cloud Nine Villas.
At that moment, Allegra and Evie walked out onto the balcony on the second floor.
Allegra’s face was streaked with tears. She was sobbing uncontrollably.
“He’s doing this for his daughter. He has to do it,” Evie said as favonovel.com tried comforting Allegra.
She looked down at herself and caressed favonovel.com belly. “If you’re a boy, you have to be like your father. Strong, fearless, and righteous!”

Two hours later, the plane landed at the airport closest to Everest Sect.
The Martial Arts Conference would start in the afternoon, so there was plenty of time left. But Isaac knew the conference would be postponed if favonovel.com didn’t show up. There were too many people wanting favonovel.com dead at Everest Sect.
At noon, Isaac and Todd drove up to the foot of the Evereston Mountains. The car couldn’t go any further. There were four guards in robes guarding the entrance. They stopped Isaac from passing.
“My name is Isaac Garten. I’m here to join the Martial Arts Conference…” Isaac told the four guards.
As soon as the guards heard his name, they let favonovel.com in. Their faces looked rude.
At the same time, many people already gathered at the mountain peak to the right of Everest Sect.
There were males and females among the martial arts practitioners. They each wore all kinds of robes and cloaks. There was a huge stage in the middle. The word “Martial” was written on the surface in red paint. It looked majestic.
The division head of Everest Sect and a few elders sat in front of the stage on elevated seats. Dozens of other members and students from the Everest Sect sat beneath them.
Four other groups of elevated seats were on each side of the stage. Each group was for the leader and the elders from the Ashleighs, the Nortons, the Stoners, and the Jensens. The other members and students of each clan sat beneath them.
There was a battle flag for each True Martial Family. The flags bore the family emblem and were raised above their seats from the right.
Amid the howling mountain wind, Leroy Ashleigh glanced at the time and narrowed his eyes. He then looked at Caesar Olsen at the Everest Sect’s seats.
It is almost time to start… Why isn’t Isaac here yet?
