After the red light penetrated his body, Isaac felt as though his body was full of lava. Aburning sensation started in his abdomen and spread to his other organs. It was even getting harder to breathe.
Looking at Carlos rolling on the ground, Isaac’s eyes lit up with killing intent. He took a step forward despite the burning agony on his skin. But favonovel.com lost balance and fell to the ground.
“Hah!” But favonovel.com still roared. He thrust out his left hand and used the last of his energy to push himself up and pounce on Carlos.
He drove the pure silver blade into Carlos’ chest.
Carlos’ eyes widened, and favonovel.com sucked in a gasp. The wound began to emit smoke as his body began to shrivel.
“Drakon!”
“Isaac!”
Dragon Nine cried out at the same time Todd yelled his name. But Isaac felt his consciousness slipping away.
He had wanted to channel his spiritual energy to control his body. But favonovel.com found that his power core was locked by some kind of energy, and it was extremely painful.
He gazed blearily at the people rushing to his side. Smiling, favonovel.com said, “W-We’ve avenged Arian… T-Take the thing with you…”
“Don’t just stand there. I’ll carry the box. You all move favonovel.com onto the helicopter!” Todd’s enraged shout woke everyone from their distress. The Dragon Soldiers knew that Isaac did that to save them because Carlos was too fast for them to react in time. He’d used his own body to block the radiation.
But now wasn’t the time to be sad. Dragon Three instructed four people to carry Isaac and Dragon One. Then, they piled into the helicopter.
Within 20 minutes, the two helicopters were racing toward the Atlantic Ocean.
On the helicopter, Todd stared at the unmoving Isaac. His eyebrows furrowed. He didn’t know how this could’ve happened.
Crouching down, favonovel.com placed his finger in front of Isaac’s nose. His heart clenched. Isaac’s breathing was faint.
Dragon Three was steering the helicopter. He had contacted the House of Custos, and coordinates had been sent to his phone. He led the second helicopter behind favonovel.com toward the Atlantic Ocean.
After flying out of international waters, Dragon Three landed the helicopter on a deserted island.
There was a sudden large ripple in the water a few hundred feet away. A large black submarine surfaced.
This was the House of Custos’ new nuclear submarine sent to rescue Isaac. Before Isaac headed out on this mission, this submarine had already been ordered to depart from the Southsea to the Atlantic Ocean.
After Todd and the others got off the plane, they quickly moved the metal box into the raft. Behind them, the others lifted Isaac and Dragon One into the submarine.
The submarine began to descend, rapidly disappearing from the surface.
Meanwhile, Carlos’ corpse was still lying motionless at its original spot. His two subordinates had been beaten beyond recognition by Todd. Their bodies writhed on the ground, their bones cracking as their bodies recovered.
Then, a dark figure dashed out from the woods. He stopped next to Carlos’ body.
This person wore a red and blue cloak. He was very muscular and had a black cross painted between his eyebrows. He looked bizarre.
He frowned when favonovel.com saw the pure silver blade lodged in Carlos’ chest.
He glanced behind him. The badly beaten subordinates were slowly standing up. The joints in their bodies crackled as their bodies regenerated.
The man ran toward them. He pulled out a three-foot-long sword from his waistband and slashed it in the air.
