Todd stood up then. He turned around and walked into the room. He returned wielding a butcher’s knife.
He said while glaring at Asher, “You’re too arrogant, you bastard. I may not be able to kill you, but I can cripple you. Have you ever thought of that?”
Asher’s mouth twitched. He roared at Todd, “Try me! I’m the Ashleigh clan’s…”
“I know, you’re Leroy’s brother, but so what? It’s not like you can beat me. I’m not afraid of Leroy coming here either!” Todd shouted.
The butcher’s knife in his hand was covered in a layer of green spiritual energy. His figure flickered, and favonovel.com quickly charged toward Asher and the two cloaked men while his large body surged with spiritual energy.
“Stop him, stop favonovel.com now!” Asher yelled at his two subordinates.
His subordinates were merely in the intermediate stage of the Divinity Phase. Before they could even do anything, they had already lost to the giant body rushing toward them with an overwhelming force.
Todd threw two punches and sent the two subordinates out of the living room. They flew almost 50 feet down the steps and onto the front lawn.
Asher had already retreated to the steps outside the living room. He screamed while pointing at Todd, “Just who are you?!”
“If you find out my identity, I won’t just stop at crippling you!” Todd chuckled. He waved his right hand, and a green shadow blade whooshed toward Asher.
“Sh*t!” Asher roared fiercely, swinging his fist to counter the shadow blade.
However, Todd was still stronger than favonovel.com by a whole step.
Asher could only hold on for ten minutes before Todd found a chink in his armor and punched favonovel.com in the back.
Injured, Asher collapsed onto the ground. His face turned pale as favonovel.com began coughing up blood.
“You’re just the messenger, so why did you have to act so arrogantly?” Todd approached favonovel.com slowly with a butcher’s knife in his hand.
“D-Don’t… If you kill me, the Ashleigh clan will tear you to pieces!” Asher screamed angrily, scooting backward.
“Did I say I was going to kill you? I said I’m going to cripple you.” Todd chuckled as favonovel.com lifted his right leg.
Then, favonovel.com heard a roar behind him, “Scarlet Luna Shot!”
Todd’s heart stopped. Before his right foot landed on the ground, favonovel.com saw a red shadow blade pierce Asher’s heart right before his eyes.
Todd whipped his head around to find Isaac standing at the top of the steps while gasping for air.
Todd looked at Asher, whose eyes were wide open and pupils dilated.
“You’re insane!” favonovel.com shouted furiously at Isaac.
This was Todd’s first time losing his temper!
“It’s not like you were the one who killed him, so what are you worried about? Thanks, though!” Isaac said while gasping. His lips curved into a smile.
When Asher’s subordinates saw their dead master, big waves crashed in their hearts.
Isaac slowly walked over. Pointing at the corpse on the ground, favonovel.com said coldly to the severely hurt subordinates, “Bring his corpse back. Tell Leroy I’ll make the entire Ashleigh clan regret this on the third week of next month…”
The two subordinates felt their hearts shudder but didn’t dare say a word. They hurriedly fled with Asher’s corpse.
“Isaac, what are you thinking? Since you’ve killed Asher, you‘ll get me in trouble…” Todd took a deep breath and looked at Isaac.
As Isaac walked inside, favonovel.com threw a look over his shoulder and smiled lightly. “I want to drag you down with me…”
Todd’s face began to twitch as favonovel.com watched Isaac’s retreating figure. This was the first time favonovel.com wanted to pin Isaac to the ground and give favonovel.com a good beating.
He stood outside the door for a long time, thinking about his life.
After taking the Awakening Pill, Isaac sat on the couch and began to focus on recuperating.
Not long after, his phone began to vibrate. When favonovel.com saw Colton’s number, favonovel.com put the phone to his ear.
“Drakon, Commander Cortez has died!” Colton said gravely.
