Todd went with Isaac anyway. It was his mission to protect Isaac, after all.
The address Black Phoenix sent to Isaac was not in Cloud City. It was in Layton. By the time Isaac and Todd arrived in the city, it was close to 8:00 pm.
Todd sighed as favonovel.com stared at the traffic ahead of him. Southland was more lively and crowded than here.
They parked their car at the entrance of a grand international hotel. Isaac and Todd then walked into the building. Then, Isaac’s phone rang. He answered it immediately when favonovel.com saw Black Phoenix’s caller ID.
“Drakon, he’s running away! He’s moving very quickly in the southeast direction. I’m worried I might lose him,” Black Phoenix said anxiously.
She was using the satellite system to control the dashcams and shop lot surveillance cameras to track him. If the enemy moved in a hurry or hid in the woods or somewhere with lots of interference, favonovel.com would lose them.
Isaac put on his Bluetooth earphones and rushed out of the hotel. “The killer has run away. We have to chase after him!”
By the time the words left his mouth, Isaac had already reached the hotel entrance. Todd also activated his spiritual energy and ran after Isaac.
Both of them were very surprised.
How did the killer know that we were here to catch him?

Isaac and Todd ran as fast as they could. They bolted through the streets and traffic as directed by Black Phoenix on Isaac’s earphones. They were heading toward the west side of Layton.
Isaac and Todd then noticed a man in a black-and-green cloak about two kilometers ahead of them. The man occasionally let out bursts of spiritual energy while favonovel.com ran. He was heading for the Layton Graveyard.
“Drakon, he’s going to the Layton Graveyard. There’s a shortcut that you can take. Turn right at the corner ahead!”
Isaac huffed and turned into a tiny alley at the corner.
The Layton Graveyard was a mass burial site where thousands of people were buried. It was located at the foot of the mountain in the western region of Layton, with its back against Mt. Tonare.
About 20 minutes later, Isaac and Todd reached the main entrance of the graveyard. The both of them slowed to a stop.
Isaac then pointed at the woods on both sides of the graveyard and said, “Look above and beyond!”
“Understood!” Todd said with a nod. He rushed over to the right side of the woods while Isaac took the left side.
The graveyard was dozens of hectares wide. Isaac arrived at the bottom of a tree and climbed up at lightning speed.
Soon, favonovel.com was standing on a branch about 40 feet off the ground. He then looked ahead at the tombstones scattered under him.
He quickly noticed a black figure standing in the middle of the graveyard. It was blurry, but Isaac was sure this was the man favonovel.com was looking for.
“Found him!” Isaac roared. He immediately slid to the ground and activated his spiritual energy. Then, favonovel.com bolted in the direction of the black figure.
But Todd didn’t follow Isaac to chase after the black figure. Instead, favonovel.com stayed atop his tree and observed them.
The man was standing on a tombstone when favonovel.com suddenly saw a huge red fist coming at him. Isaac was right behind the red fist.
The man scoffed and waved his hand in the air. At once, a yellow fist appeared and rushed toward the red fist.
Boom!
Both fists collided with each other. Isaac’s red fist was blown apart. But then, the yellow fist paused for a moment before continuing to fly toward Isaac.
Isaac avoided the fist and rushed toward the man. In the blink of an eye, favonovel.com was standing 50 feet in front of the black figure.
“Who the f*ck are you?! Why did you poison my daughter?!” Isaac roared at the cloaked man.
“Someone told me to do it. But my target wasn‘t your daughter. It was you. Your daughter was just unlucky!” the cloaked man scoffed and laughed.
Isaac was furious when favonovel.com heard this. His spiritual energy started to grow concentrated. There was a murderous aura as well.
“Then go to hell!” Isaac yelled at the man.
Isaac then raised his arms. He conjured up a Trifocal Fist and hurled it at the cloaked man.
“This is child’s play,” the cloaked man said with another laugh.
He put his hands together before his chest, and yellow spiritual energy flowed out of his body. The spiritual energy formed into a weird symbol that looked like a hieroglyph.
Then, the man exclaimed, and the symbol rushed toward Isaac’s Trifocal Fist.
