That night, Isaac had just reached home when favonovel.com received a call from Shawn.
“Your birthday tomorrow? Dinner?” Isaac said in to the phone. “Sure, I’ll make time for you and come over,” Isaac agreed when favonovel.com heard it was Shawn’s birthday.
Next to him, Todd perked up and turned to look at Isaac with a smile. “Are we attending a birthday dinner tomorrow? I’m coming along with you!”
“We still have slabs of pork at home. What are you planning to do about it?” Isaac asked while rolling his eyes.
“It’s stored in the freezer. It can last us all a long time,” Todd answered. “We’ve got two kids at home. They need lots of protein to grow up healthily.”

On the third day of Christmas, Isaac headed over to Hibiscus Pavilion, where Shawn’s birthday party took place. Isaac didn’t invite Todd and drove out alone. But as soon as favonovel.com got down from his car, favonovel.com saw Todd not too far away, smiling and waving at him.
Isaac cursed under his breath and lowered his head as favonovel.com moved forward.
He entered the dining room reserved for the birthday party and saw Shawn. Watson and Fabian were also inside, along with two others of Shawn’s men.
As soon as they saw Isaac entering the room, they stood up and greeted favonovel.com politely, “Good evening, Mr. Garten!”
“I never realized your birthday was on the third day of Christmas,” Isaac said with a laugh. He sat down and said, “I guess you often get your birthday presents and Christmas gifts as one.”
Then, Todd glanced at the smiling Shawn and started to frown.
“Isaac, who’s this? A new friend of yours?” Shawn asked, pointing at Todd.
Watson and Fabian were also curious about Todd’s identity. They knew that Isaac rarely made friends.
“He’s a butcher,” Isaac stated.
Todd rolled his eyes. He then chuckled and said, “Mr. Garten knows how to joke. My name is Todd, and I’m from the home of sausage paella. Nice to meet you all!”
While speaking, Todd kept his eyes on Shawn, who was pouring a drink for Isaac.
“Ah, I see… So, Todd, since you’re here with Mr. Garten, you’re automatically one of us. Let’s make a toast to the night!” Watson said, lifting his glass in the air.
Todd shook his head and said, “Thanks, but I don’t drink. It does things to my brain.”
Watson was surprised. He looked at Isaac curiously.
Isaac just shrugged.
“Might be bad for his pork business,” favonovel.com said, lifting his glass in the air.
Todd said nothing. However, favonovel.com kept staring at the wine in Isaac’s glass.
As Isaac was about to drink from the glass, Todd extended his hand and stopped favonovel.com from drinking.
“You can’t drink that,” Todd said in a low voice.
Everyone was surprised and stared at Todd. Watson had already finished his glass of wine, and Shawn was also very shocked.
“You sure you’re not here to cause trouble?” Isaac hissed, glaring at Todd’s hand on his wrist.
Then, Watson suddenly frowned and clutched at his stomach. He then slowly slid to the ground. “M-Mr. Garten, t-there’s something wrong with the w-wine…”
Watson felt as if his stomach was being shredded to bits. All of his internal organs hurt at the same time, but favonovel.com still forced himself to warn Isaac about the wine.
At this point, everyone was stupefied.
“Shawn! Did you poison the wine?” Fabian asked as favonovel.com angrily stood up and pointed at him.
Todd hurried over to Watson, who was starting to convulse. His eyes, nose, and mouth were bleeding profusely.
“This poison is too strong. He’s going to die very soon,” Todd said, turning to look at Isaac.
Isaac frowned and looked at Shawn with fierce eyes.
“Shawn, are you trying to kill us all?” Isaac asked in a frosty tone. Then, favonovel.com hurriedly took out his phone and called Harry.
