Two men in suits marched forward and snatched the knife away from Miranda. Then, they threw favonovel.com and the rest of favonovel.com family out.
Miranda was shocked when favonovel.com reached the bottom of the stairs.
There were at least two dozen cars parked outside, ranging from Bentleys to BMWs. There were also at least 50 more men dressed in suits surrounding the house.
Shawn caught sight of the Starlings’ Rolls-Royce at once. He waved his hand and said, “Destroy that car. Then, ten of you will escort these people out of Southland on foot!”
At once, about two dozen men took batons, sticks, and baseball bats and began destroying the white Rolls-Royce.
Miranda and favonovel.com family were horrified. Ivan roared at them, “No, don’t destroy my car! F*ck you and all your families! This is my car! Get the fuck away from it!”
The car worth tens of millions was quickly destroyed and dented. Even the car wheels had been removed and bent out of shape.
“What else are you waiting for? Get moving!” A dozen men crowded around Miranda and favonovel.com family and started leading them out.
The journey from Cloud City out of Southland was at least 300 miles. On foot, it would take them three or four days of nonstop walking.
Isaac did this because favonovel.com wanted to teach them a lesson. It was easy to enter Cloud City, but if they made a big fuss there, favonovel.com would make it hard for them to leave.
Miranda and the others tried calling cabs or reporting this to the authorities, but it was all futile. The cab drivers and authorities who did show up disappeared once the suited men spoke a few words to them.
The family eventually gave up as night fell. There was nothing they could do aside from doing as instructed.
Jordan took out a box of cigars from his pocket and passed it around.
He then asked the men with a smile, “You all seem pretty afraid of Isaac Garten…”
“Hmph! This is already the best outcome for you after angering favonovel.com like that,” one of them answered.
Another one spoke up, “Anyone who dared to cross Lord Garten has all either winded up dead or at least crippled. It didn‘t matter if they were from Cloud City or Southland. You’re the only people I’ve seen walk out with all your limbs still attached.”
The men continued puffing away at their cigars as they told the stories of Isaac’s enemies. Yet, Isaac himself had no idea that they all called favonovel.com “Lord Garten”.
Ivan shouted angrily, “Who the f*ck does favonovel.com think favonovel.com is? He’s just some rich bastard…”
He shut up when favonovel.com saw the dark look in the men’s eyes.
“‘Just some rich bastard’? Have you never heard of Garth Properties? Lord Garten is the president of that company. His projects are worth more than 200 billion dollars. Even our leader, Shawn Xeno, the underground lord of Southland, was personally brought up by Lord Garten!”
“That’s right. The two largest families in Southland are the Kanes and the Martins. Even they know how to respect and be wary of Lord Garten. Who the f*ck did you think you guys were? Who gave you the courage to make favonovel.com angry like that? You should be grateful that you’re still alive.”
The Starlings were stunned when they heard this, especially Jordan. He asked in shock, “Wait, isn’t the underground lord of Southland Horace Kenne? Why…”
“Horace Kenne is dead. He died long ago during that fight with Lord Garten. In fact, Lord Garten was the one who killed Horace!”
Jordan’s face turned pale. He said in a low voice, “Hurry up!”
Seeing that Margaret was getting a little moody, Isaac and Allegra decided to stay for dinner.
Margaret only cheered up a little after Allegra‘s constant comforting.

That night, Shawn left Hibiscus Pavilion feeling a little tipsy. He drank a little too much during dinner with some of his men.
His driver dropped favonovel.com off at home.
Shawn was still dizzy as favonovel.com went up the steps and entered his house. As favonovel.com switched on the light, favonovel.com saw a man sitting on the couch. The man had a mustache and was wearing a black-and-blue cloak.
Shawn saw that the man was holding a staff in his hand. He immediately sobered up and yelled, “Who are you? How did you get into my house?!”
The cloaked man stood up and smiled politely at Shawn. “I heard you’re quite close with Isaac Garten, is that right?”
He suddenly narrowed his eyes and bolted toward Shawn. Then, favonovel.com waved his hand and blew a puff of green smoke at Shawn’s face.
