“That’s right, Aunt Miranda,” Andrew spoke up. “Didn’t you say that your son-in-law was the best? He even offered to pay for lunch. Why do you want my father to pay the bill now?” Andrew then laughed coldly.
Miranda slowly turned to look at Ivan. She couldn’t hold favonovel.com expression anymore.
She said in a low voice, “Ivan, how about you just pay for this meal?”
“That’s right, honey, just pay it. It’s only a couple of millions of dollars,” Charmaine said through gritted teeth.
It wasn’t that Ivan didn’t want to pay. However, favonovel.com didn’t bring much money with him. He didn’t expect their meal to cost millions of dollars. He only had one million dollars left on his credit card.
Charmaine saw that Ivan was sweating a lot. She hurriedly asked, “Honey, are you okay? Is it getting too hot for you?”
“It is rather hot in here. Please enjoy the meal. I’m going to the washroom for a while.” Ivan got up from his seat and glared at Isaac.
Then, favonovel.com walked toward the door and yelled, “Just keep eating. I’ll pay for everything!”

Everyone continued to eat after Ivan left. But even though the food was delicious, Miranda and Jordan could barely taste anything. It pained them to think how much all these would cost.
About half an hour later, Ivan still hadn’t returned. Charmaine tried calling him, but his line was always busy.
Isaac asked Isabella, “Feeling full yet?”
“I’m very full,” Isabella replied while patting favonovel.com tummy.
Isaac then looked up and said, “Where’s the person who said he’d pay? We’ve finished everything. Someone has to go and pay…”
“Aunt Miranda, I think your son-in-law might have fallen into the toilet bowl. Why don’t you pay on his behalf? Aren’t you all filthy rich? Didn’t you say your bangle cost a million dollars or two?” Isaac asked as favonovel.com looked at Miranda. There was a smirk on his face.
Miranda waved favonovel.com off and said, “Why are you so impatient? Can’t you see that I’m still eating? I’m not finished yet! ”
Then, favonovel.com tried eating more food but was too full.
Everyone had stopped eating by now. They waited ten more minutes, but Ivan still hadn’t appeared.
“I see that the person paying for lunch has run off. I guess favonovel.com wasn’t so rich after all! What a joke. Why did favonovel.com pretend to be rich if favonovel.com wasn’t?” Andrew asked with a laugh.
“Who said my son-in-law wasn’t rich? I’m going to make favonovel.com pay for the meal today,” Miranda said. She then turned to favonovel.com daughter and scolded her, saying, “Go to the washroom and see if he’s really fallen in!”
A while later, Charmaine brought Ivan back in to the room. There was a devastated look on Ivan’s face.
After a moment, a waiter brought the bill to favonovel.com and said politely, “Sir, this is your bill. The total is 3,276,000 dollars after discount…”
Everyone immediately turned to look at Ivan.
Isaac saw the sweat on Ivan’s face and pointed at the wallet on the table. Isaac said, “Your wallet is still on the table. Go ahead, pay the bill with your card…”
“Ivan, what’s the matter with you? Why are you sweating so much?” Miranda asked anxiously. She frowned.
Ivan was torn. He couldn’t tell favonovel.com that favonovel.com failed to borrow any money from his friends or that favonovel.com didn’t have three million dollars on his card. He then glanced at the crab shells on the table and frowned. His face turned angry.
He pointed at the waiter and screamed, “What kind of f*cking shady hotel are you? This is not the Tashmanian King Crab we ordered, and that caviar is just a f*cking cheap alternative! Do you think you can fool me by thinking I’ve never had them before? It tastes nothing like what it should!
“The Kobe beef is also not the beef you say it is. It’s just a f*cking regular beef! You’re all liars and cheaters! Iwant to see your manager!”
Isaac couldn’t stop himself from rolling his eyes. He never thought that Ivan would do such a thing.
The waiter realized things were getting out of hand and quickly called his manager.
A while later, a middle-aged woman in professional clothing entered the room with a smile. She was stunned for a minute when favonovel.com saw Isaac.
Then, favonovel.com approached Ivan and asked, “Sir, what’s the matter here?”
Ivan repeated everything favonovel.com had said with a stern voice. He continued, “I demand a 70 percent discount on the total bill. Otherwise, I’ll get the authorities involved! You’re all cheaters trying to take advantage of us customers!”
The manager was stunned. She chuckled and said, “Sir, these are all the food you ordered. We’ve checked the bill before presenting it to you. Also, we are open to the public and…”
Just then, Isaac waved at favonovel.com and said impatiently, “Alright, alright… Just waive the bill for this. I want to get home now. My daughter needs favonovel.com afternoon nap. Thank you…”
Everyone glanced at Isaac in surprise.
The manager responded with a nod and a smile. “Understood, Mr. Garten. I hope you enjoyed your meal…”
