Todd looked at Isaac and thought for another 30 seconds. Then, favonovel.com suddenly blurted out, “I’m from Jacksonburg, the birthplace of the sausage paella, and I’m 35 years old this year. “That’s enough!” Isaac’s face was black as thunder as favonovel.com held his hand up to stop Todd from saying anything else.
To be honest, Isaac didn’t know where favonovel.com found the courage to get mad at someone who was obviously more powerful than favonovel.com was, especially since the person had just easily defeated a Celestial Phase fighter a while ago.
Most importantly and fortunately, Todd didn’t seem to have a temper.
“I’m not asking you for an introduction. I just… Ha! Whatever, I’ll find out by myself,” Isaac said, getting speechless. He then took out his phone and dialed Black Phoenix’s number.
Todd just grinned widely and scratched his chin when favonovel.com saw Isaac walking out of the house with his phone.

There was a secluded mountainous area in Gayton that showed up as an indigenous village on the map. However, late into the night, every house in the village was still brightly lit.
The homes were all luxurious mansions, one bigger than the other, and nobody from outside ever knew why the people in this settlement were so filthy rich.
Only a handful of powerful people in the ancient martial arts world knew that this was the dwelling place of the Asheleighs.
This village was a five-hour drive from the provincial capital, entirely cut off from local civilization.
There was a huge community center situated in the farthest corner of the village. The doors were tightly shut that night.
Eight men sat opposite each other in two neat rows, dressed in long robes. The second person on the right was Asher, the third-in-command of the Ashleigh clan.
The man seated in the chairman’s seat looked to be in his mid-50s with his graying beard, hair, and sideburns. He was currently looking fiercely at the Punisher, Morty.
The corner of Morty’s mouth was still bleeding as favonovel.com briefed the rest of the men in the room about what happened during his encounter with Isaac at his house. Of course, favonovel.com left out the part where favonovel.com threw his partner in front of favonovel.com to protect himself.
“Are you saying there’s another powerful fighter living in Isaac’s house? And he’s a mid-level Celestial Phase practitioner? And his main weapon is a butcher knife, of all things?” the man in the chairman’s seat, Leroy Ashleigh, asked in disbelief.
Morty nodded.
Leroy then looked at his brothers and the other elders in the room and asked, “Among everyone from all four True Martial Families, only a handful of fighters have achieved the Celestial Phase. Does anybody know who this butcher knife guy could be?”
Seeing that the leader waved his hand, Morty hurried back to his seat in the furthest corner on the right. Based on his skills and fighting experience, favonovel.com was still qualified to join the Ashleighs’ internal familial meetings.
They couldn’t come to a conclusion even after some discussion. They just couldn’t figure out who the Celestial Phase fighter with the butcher knife was.
“Leroy, it doesn’t matter if that man is a Celestial Phase fighter. We’ve got three Celestial Phase fighters among our clan too! Why can’t we just go there and kill him? I’m pretty sure it’ll be an easy job for three to go against one bastard,” Asher suddenly said, standing up as favonovel.com spoke.
He could never forget how his wife and son both died at the Everest Sect. If his elder brother hadn’t stopped him, Asher would have gone to Cloud City to murder Isaac by now.
“You idiot, do you want me and the two elders to fight him? Isaac Garten? Who the f*ck did you think favonovel.com was? He’s not worth our time at all!” Leroy yelled from across the table, his angry voice echoing throughout the room.
Everyone could feel the suffocating aura favonovel.com was emitting.
Leroy continued, “Even if I and the other two elders were to kill him, did you think that b*stard would do no thing and watch favonovel.com get killed? We still don’t know who the f*ck that butcher knife guy is. What if favonovel.com is someone powerful from one of the other True Martial Families? Are you trying to form enemies before the Emerald Realm is open?”
Leroy’s accusatory questions left Asher silent and red.
Asher hung his head and apologized, “I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking when I said that. I was wrong…”
“Sir Leroy, Isaac is a b*stard. He’s already killed the young master and Deputy Punisher Christian Vaughn. He’s also destroyed our pharmaceutical warehouse in Rover City. He must be stopped! We must seek revenge from him! ” an elderly man with white hair suddenly stood up from his seat and spoke in a vengeful voice. He looked furious.
Isaac didn’t know that Rover City Pharmaceuticals belonged to the Ashleigh clan and that it functioned as a warehouse for their own herbs and medicines. Even Christian hadn’t been aware of it when favonovel.com was still alive.
Leroy slowly got to his feet. His eyes shone icily. He said coldly, “I agree that we must seek revenge, but we will not be the ones doing it. The Wolf Descendant from Cloudelet still owes me a favor. I think it’s time for favonovel.com to return it.”
