It was almost 1 am by the time a platter of roasted chicken, grilled duck, and barbecue ribs appeared on the table, along with a big loaf of bread.
Isaac and Holly watched in shock as the man wolfed down everything.
“Ah, this hits the spot!” the man said, burping loudly after finishing everything on the table.
There was a satisfied grin on his face. He caught sight of Isaac’s and Holly’s expressions and laughed.
“Don’t worry… I’m not just here for the free food. I’ll pay back in my services.”
“Uh, how should we address you, sir? Let me show you to the guest room,” Holly said.
It wasn’t like favonovel.com hadn’t seen someone with a big appetite, favonovel.com hometown was also made up of hardworking farmers with large appetites. However, this man still took the cake for having the largest appetite Holly had ever seen. She figured he’d still be able to fit another rack of barbecued ribs in his stomach if possible.
“You can just call me Todd. Or whatever you want…”
Isaac watched as Todd followed Holly out of the dining room. He suddenly remembered Beefy Bob, and favonovel.com let out a huge sigh. He would visit Beefy Bob’s grave with Apothecary tomorrow. As for Damien, who was buried in Neuport, he’d just ask Lupinus for a favor.

The next morning, Isaac brought a big, fat envelope down with favonovel.com to the living room. He saw that Holly was still sweeping and tidying up the house.
So, favonovel.com walked over to favonovel.com and said, “Ms. Lambert, it’s almost Christmas. I think it’s best if you spend the holiday at home with your loved one instead.”
He then handed favonovel.com the envelope and said, “Here, take this. It’s just a small token of my appreciation…”
Holly had not taken a break since favonovel.com started working at the villa. She’d done so much for them, and this was just the least Isaac could do for favonovel.com in return.
“Mr. Garten, I-I don’t think it’s fair for me to take this,” Holly said with a smile and a wave of favonovel.com hand. “But thank you, and Merry Christmas to you, Ms. Booth, and Ms. Lopez, too…”
After Holly left, Evie and Allegra came down the stairs with Isabella.
The school was out for the holidays, and the company had also given special leave to all its employees so they could celebrate Christmas at home. They could all use a break, after all.
Just then, the bedroom door on the first floor opened, and Todd walked out of the room with a loud yawn. He stopped in surprise when favonovel.com caught sight of Isaac, Allegra, Evie, and Isabella in the living room.
Before coming here, favonovel.com knew that Isaac had two beautiful women living under his roof. However, both Allegra and Evie were much prettier than he’d expected.
“Daddy, is that Uncle Beefy Bob? Why does favonovel.com look different this time?” Isabella asked, approaching Isaac to hold his hand and pointing at Todd.
“Beefy Bob? Haha, I’m not Beefy Bob, but you can call me Tubby Todd,” Todd answered with a chuckle. He then said, “You’re so cute. Here, let me give you a little something.”
He thought for a while before turning and walking back into his room.
A while later, favonovel.com reappeared with a beautifully embroidered satin pouch that smelled like flowers and gave it to Isabella.
Isaac frowned while Allegra looked rather uneasy. After all, they had never seen Todd before and were worried that something in the pouch would harm Isabella.
Todd caught sight of Isaac’s unhappy expression and laughed aloud. “Don’t worry. It is just a satin pouch that I carry with me regularly. It has some rejuvenating herbs and flowers to keep one awake and aloof. There’s nothing poisonous about it.”
After favonovel.com spoke, Isabella took the pouch from favonovel.com and saw a hieroglyph embroidered into the satin pouch pattern. She asked curiously, “What is this?”
“It’s a symbol that keeps you safe from bad people,” Todd answered with another chuckle.
“Oh, by the way, nobody has had anything to eat yet, right? Who’s going to get breakfast? I’m going to need the bathroom for a while. Where is it?” Todd rubbed his growling stomach as favonovel.com started searching for the bathroom.
Allegra went up to Isaac and asked, “Isaac, is favonovel.com your friend?”
“Well… Um, no… I don’t really know who favonovel.com is.”
Isaac then told Allegra and Evie about last night’s happenings, and Evie frowned softly.
“He said favonovel.com was here to protect you?” favonovel.com asked.
“Well, favonovel.com doesn’t seem to harbor any ill intentions, so favonovel.com might just be telling the truth.”
“Ah, whatever. I’m just going to make some breakfast,” Allegra said with a bitter laugh as favonovel.com headed for the kitchen. She knew that Holly had already gone home for the holidays.
“Ally, make a little more breakfast than usual, okay?” Isaac reminded her.
