Bernard’s henchmen turned on their heels and fled as soon as they saw what happened. They could now confirm that Isaac, who killed Bernard with just one move, was no longer just a mid-level Divinity Phase fighter.

They reached Tayun around 3 pm.

He took out his phone and looked up ahead of him, deciding that the car wouldn’t be able to make its way up the mountain after all. He would have to proceed on foot.

“Mr. Guerra, I’m here to bring my wife home,” Isaac said, nodding respectfully at the man.
Chet was taken aback. He frowned and asked, “You’re here to bring Allegra home? Are you out of your mind?”
“Isaac!” There was a sudden yell from the balcony on the third floor.
Allegra appeared just then, half of favonovel.com body leaning over the railing, as Isaac felt his eyes watering up.
