Isaac’s hand paused in midair. He was in the middle of bringing the cigarette to his lips.

“You can shut up now.” Isaac drew a deep puff from his cigarette without answering.
“Are you really going to kill me?” Luna pressed.
“If you don’t shut up, I will kill you…” Isaac turned his head to stare at favonovel.com icily.
Then, favonovel.com walked out of the wooden hut.
Luna stood behind the door and eavesdropped, favonovel.com seemed to be on the phone with someone, but favonovel.com couldn’t understand a single Cynean word that favonovel.com was speaking.
Isaac soon returned. He walked to the mattress on the floor, sat down, closed his eyes, and began meditating. He wasn’t worried that his insane hostage would run away.
The night passed uneventfully.
In the hazy dawn, Isaac opened his eyes. When favonovel.com turned his head, favonovel.com found Luna curled up beside him, sound asleep. She was even shivering in favonovel.com dreams because it was too cold, and favonovel.com didn’t have a blanket.
Isaac got up. He hesitated for a moment, then took off his jacket and gently draped it over favonovel.com body.
The door creaked open.

A day quickly passed. At sunset, Luna sat at the table, shoveling the food that Isaac had prepared down favonovel.com throat.
“Mr. Killer, if you’re so good at cooking, why didn’t you open a restaurant? Why did you choose to become a killer instead?” Luna asked, burping. She rubbed favonovel.com tummy, looking up at Isaac, who was smoking.
Suddenly, the piercing sound of sirens blared from outside the village. The whirring of a helicopter also filled the air, breaking the serenity in the mountains.
“Are they finally here?” Isaac’s mouth turned upward.
He turned around and walked out the door, spotting the lights blinking in the distance.
Above his head, a helicopter hovered to a stop. The piercing spotlight basked the entire wooden house in its light, making the nighttime feel like midday.
After some point, cars could no longer drive in, so hordes of armed officers began sprinting over.
Over a hundred officers surrounded the wooden home. Behind them, Willie, with Augustus behind him, soon arrived on the front lawn of the house.
“Isaac, if you hand over my daughter now, I’ll give you painless death!” Augustus roared threateningly.
Seeing the officers outside, Isaac smiled lightly and said, “Does having all these people here serve you any good? The one I want to see is the Ninja Lord. Or do you not want to see your daughter alive again?”
At that moment, Luna stuck favonovel.com head out from behind Isaac.
When Augustus saw her, favonovel.com exclaimed anxiously, “Luna, Luna, are you alright?! Are you hurt?!”
“Father, I’m fine! Mr. Killer is really nice, favonovel.com even made me a scrumptious Cynean feast. Can you take these people home?”
When favonovel.com heard the girl’s words, Isaac’s mouth twitched. The menacing image that he’d crafted for himself was totally ruined.
Suddenly, an icy voice said in front of Isaac, “If you want to meet the Ninja Lord, you can, but you’ll have to walk over my dead body. Are you capable of doing that?”
A white figure materialized 15 feet in front of Isaac, his pupilless, white eyes calmly staring straight at him.
